Please focus on building Trains and railways as this will decongest the roads. More and bigger roads will only result to more cars and congestion.

That is what we need to do. Take a vacation from politics for a while and see we can do to improve our infrastructure.

I wish they can do even more such as: - Constructing an expressway towards the Cagayan Valley region - Extension of NLWEX towards the Ilocos provinces - Extension of CLLEX eastward to end at Baler and/or Casiguran in Aurora, and westward to end at Iba in Zambales This is possible and plausible mostly via private Filipino companies or foreign investments.

I have most of this projects plotted on Google Earth, and I must say, wow, ang dami ang ang haba, magkakakonektado na yung mga expressway natin, and maraming expressway na nakapalibot sa metro manila na hindi ka na talaga dadaan sa EDSA and other major roads.And nakukulangan na lang ako yung connectivit between CAVITEX and NLEX, para kapag gusto namin pumunta North , di na kami daan sa mga busy streets ng manila. Kaso di pa kasama yun dito sa list of projects, :/ . Although pde naman dumaan via NAIAX and then SKyway to NLEX, pero mas malapit sana kung CAVITEX then NLEX na agad, hehe.

Hello manga-kababayan!! The answer should be to improve and to build high speed railway networks around the country. It will ease up traffic jams as people will rely less in travelling by road which result to less population also less importing of gas & oil. Also less travel time for people. Excellent designs will eliminate flooding problems. Also connect islands via underground railways budget wise to build bridges. There are many railway networks around the world that could be adopted & modelled that will work in the Philippines. In the US in the 1950's they dismantled many of their railway networks in favour of building roads. UK in the 1960's followed suite and dismantled vast number of railway networks and closed thousands of railway stations, the same reason of building roads. Such a pity with current concern about climate change, pollution, greenhouse effect should it be the less cars & vehicles on the road the better for the planet will be? Let say for argument sake the designs of cars/vehicles are improving but manufacturing those use materials and process of disposal & recycling will also cost money. Also those electric cars to create electricity need oil & gas. There are so many environmental friendly reasons why building railway networks is better......maraming salamat!!!

As long as the typical pinoy driver observe traffic rules, and traffic enforcement looking the other way, no amount of build will ever benefit the poor riding public who cannot even afford basic transportation charges.
