Elder and Sister McKay, along with local pioneers and early members will share their conversion stories and memories about the Church, since it was first introduced to the Philippines in the 1961. Additionally, Kent Lowe, one of the first four missionaries sent to the Philippines after its re-dedication in 1961, will recount his missionary experiences in the country. We invite you to watch and learn more about these stories that helped shape the history of the Church in the Philippines. This broadcast will be presided over by Elder Steven R. Bangerter of the Seventy and the Philippines Area President, joined by his wife Sister Susan A. Bangerter.

I love how the spirit can be felt through live videos and recorded videos like this. I better understand now the importance of keeping my own personal records of the miracles in my life. This has solidify the teaching that Elder Bangerter has taught us in our recent stake conference with him in Morong Rizal. That through records, through our own church history, we are able to strengthen the future generations of the church, and also ourselves at times of doubt and of discouragement. May we all continue to anchor our faith in Christ and Our Father and His plan, through miracles in our lives together with The Gospel.

A million thanks for educating us about the history of the true gospel in the Philippines! I, too together with my entire family is the first generation in my clan who joined the LDS church in the Philippines more than 4 decades (42+years) ago and continually live and embrace the gospel fully in our lives ever since with our 2nd generation who served and continue to serve missions thru the years…. My life, parents, siblings & their children are shaped, molded and guided by the true gospel we have in our lives. A million thanks! All the testimonies shared on this video touched & gladden my heart that encouraged and inspired me more to follow until then the footsteps of Jesus Christ. Amazing words shared… Watched this broadcast from New York City, USA. Proud to be Filipino .😍
