Philippines, Biliran Province, Balaquid waterfalls and rice-terraces 

Passing some of the beautiful rice-terraces on our trek up to the waterfalls in the mountain near Balaquid. The view from here, over the sea and other islands, is stunning. On the opposite side of Biliran strait, in the Leyte mountains near Limon, some of WWII hardest battles were fought on Breakneck ridge.
