Anyway, I recommend that you both pls visit DUMAGUETE CITY, the city of Gentle People and see the famous “University by the Sea” my Alma Mater SILLIMAN UNIVERSITY! Try ro bring your friend in the modern places of metro manila like Makati, BGC ,.Mall of asia, SM megamall etc. So that he will see that the Philippines has also a lot of modern places to offer. Dont just focus in the poor areas.
