Tama ka kung naka basi lang yan sa population at era ng lugar pero kung tutuusin mas malaki ang davao kaya lang sa ngayon humigit kumulang halos 20 o 30% lang ang nanirahan na tao dito sa DAVAO kung di ako nagkakamali,, sa Quezon 60% ay higit o kukulang ang tao at structures kaya malapit nang mapuno ang lugar,,, darating ang panahon na malalaman niyo ang tunay kung may magagandang pamalakad dito sa mga may kapangyarihan at maraming mga opportunities kaya tingnan niyo ang mga MAPA,,,,GOD BLESS po sa atin.....

@@grixalcantara4637 it also has some geographically side effects, it's challenging to maintain a huge city, plus the city has some mountainous parts and is home to earthquakes because mount apo is situated in there, but the advantages of Davao is that there's barely any typhoons

@@enajk9477 Let me give you straight facts -if Luzon and Vismin were to be splitted, Vismin will be the one to crumble as 70% of the economy is situated in Luzon and 54% of the population is in Luzon -We have approximately 27 International Airports,; Cebu Mactan,Iloilo International, Davao International is a few example -study shows only NCR, CALABARZON, Central Luzon and Central Visayas could only stand on its own, so when Federalism happens you know which regions would benefit from it and which one will crumble

Davao City, was the largest in land area then. don't know if it's still is now. been there three times, first in the late 1970's and the last was 2004. that is one of the most beautiful cities in the south.

Dante Mejos It is even larger than some provinces in Luzon and the Visayas, plus it has a wonderful and vibrant culture, mixing the traditions of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. I wouldn’t be surprised if Davao would be a Top Tourist Destination in the coming years.

+Rene Sarabia EXACTLY!! Metro areas when discussing national demographics, individual cities when talking metro demographics. Just like everyday life, if someone asks where I'm from I say Los Angeles, unless they were asking specifically where in L.A.

Caz Gerald The problem here is that. We still haven't moved on to basing national stats by counting on metropolises and instead, divide the capital city, Manila, into sub cities and then progress from there.

One could argue that Metro Manila would run significantly more efficiently if considered a single entity.On the other hand, individual cities can fight for their own resources meaning some will be more successful. One thing that some suggest which seems quite sound to me is that Luzon receives disproportionately more development resources than they contribute to the national well being, while Mindanao receives a distant third relative to their contribution.
