I literally cried while watching this clip and I know Laura has been doing this for years now since my house is just one jeepney ride away from Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center. She's doing this because she wants to do it and not because she was forced to do it... With or without crown... #LauraForTheWorld

Eventhough Im a Filipino, it is one of the best BWAP project in this year's Miss World. She doesnt think her project a short one but a long term. She wants to have a legacy in MWO if she will be crowned as MW. In addition, breastmilk is a vital food for the babies because it is our first source of nutrients for the rest of our lives. Her project was REALISTIC not IDEALISTIC.

Among the BWAPs I watched, which mostly tackles about already existing problems in the world, Laura's video focused more on doing Little yet more Realizable and more Feasible changes. Aside from her advocacy in providing cheaper and more accessible Milk Bank for the said hospital, the lesson that I got from her video is that "Beauty with A Purpose" is really not about focusing on the most urgent issues in the world, it's about really doing what you CAN, as an individual, to the society, regardless if it is a Small Act of Kindness or a big one. That perfectly defines the PURPOSE in the BWAP project, finding and realizing your purpose even to the smallest way you can imagine. In the latter part of the video, she said she can never be Superwoman, but if we will choose to do little things, then we can make a big difference. Congratulations to you, Laura Lehmann! We are very proud of you!
Well...I wasn't that strong. I cried...am still crying...but have pulled myself together enough to commend Laura on her BWAP mission. Your "what if" scenario really got me thinking...and your "do the best with your situation" reaffirmed to me that the best you offer need not come with the bells, wistles and fireworks to herald its arrival...but rather something thoughtful, meaningful, impactful and necessary. I am amazed at the simplicity of your BWAP mission and am so encouraged by how many lives, both present and future, will be made better because of it! Congratulations Laura!!!

I was touched by this video. I could feel the sincerity of Laura to help and to fulfill her purpose. I hope MWO would also see this. Though I am not 100% positive because of the dubious results last year.
In all of the BWAP videos I watched through the years, this is the only one that made my eyes genuinely teary. Since from the start, every word thorned my heart and up to the very last where Laura seems to be also crying I can't help but to cry to. The message of Laura is so heart breaking that she wants to make a better place for the children but it must start when they are still babies. As I look into her eyes, all I see is passion and compassion. You're our queen Laura, I hope MW judges will see your heart behind this video and will see how beautiful person you are. so touching cant control my feelings specially i have niece she was confined in the hospital for 3 months since she was born because she has a heart problem and she cant suck milk from her mother .kailangan ipadaan sa ilong nya ang gatas para mabuhay pamangkin ko ..i know hindi lang pamangkin ko nakaranas ng ganito. i hope LAURA WILL WIN she has a beauty with a purpose..we will pray and support you good luck ms world Laura
This literally made me cry which I did not expect upon clicking this video. Truly inspiring. We can't change the world in a snap but we can at least help thru little things that we are capable of doing. Its also nice that she has this long term vision unlike the past beauty with a purpose pojects which maybe had vanished already after their terms. Hope she wins this.

Laura has just made a huge impact and a difference in the lives of these babies. This video is a validation of how this Filipina badly wants to create a difference and legacy not only to those angels in JRMH but to the world as a whole.
