A missile is a guided weapon system designed to deliver a warhead (such as explosives) to a target with high precision. Missiles are typically propelled by rocket engines and are equipped with guidance systems, which allow them to be directed toward a specific target during flight. They can be launched from various platforms, including land-based launchers, ships, aircraft, and submarines. There are different types of missiles, categorized by their purpose and range such as Ballistic Missiles, Cruise Missiles, Surface-to-Air Missiles, Air-to-Air Missiles, and Anti-Ship Missiles.
In this video, we will discuss, what are the missile systems that are currently being used by the armed forces of the Philippines.
The Philippine Navy announced that two more fast-attack interdiction craft missile boats, also known as the Acero-class patrol vessels, had been delivered to the country. In a message to reporters, they said the two fast attack interdiction craft armed with missiles were delivered at Pier 15 of the Manila South Harbor on September 17. Another batch of deliveries of S70i Black Hawk helicopters. This was after aircraft observers saw the arrival of Antonov 124 cargo aircraft in the Philippines carrying an S70i Black Hawk helicopter.

The Philippines must have at least 3 to 6 batteries of Iron Dome to support the Spider Air Defense Missiles for a complete credible defense posture. Two systems with proven capabilities and difficult to evade/counter by the enemy. Having this system combined with our BRAHMOS missiles system for at least 9 batteries plus if we can also integrate the Medium Range Missiles from the US is a much more powerful defense posture of a country ever had. It's a game changer for us in Asia.

Yes, the Iron Dome is a combat proven system with very high interception rate, somewhere between 80% to 90% as stated in articles. They can shoot down Missiles, rockets, low flying aircrafts, UCAV's, etc., but their downside is that they're a short range ADS, and MAY not be the "appropriate" Air Defense System against the Chinese DF-21's & DF-26's Ballistic Missiles which are both Hypersonic. These ballistic missiles are our country's biggest threat coz they can "DECIMATE " all (or almost all) our Airbases, Naval fleet, Military installations, our Brahmos batteries, our Air Defense Systems, Radar Installations, Ammunition Storages, etc., in a matter of minutes to less than an hour, all or almost all of our prized military assets will be destroyed.

Much of the M2 Bradley Fighting Vehicle's success in combat can be attributed to this weapon, the TOW 2 missile! Our Military's current inventory of TOW 2 missiles of about 100+ units have to be augmented coz they're "insufficient in numbers" in a "full scale war," we'll need something like 500 to 1,000 TOW missiles, which includes about 150 to 200 TOW 2 launchers. A TOW2 launcher + missile costs between $250K to $300k per set, so this acquisition may cost between $140 MillionDollars(minimum)for 500 units of TOW2 Systems or $250Million Dollars for 900 units.(maximum) One possible source for funding this would be the US Military Aid of $500M.

You mean China? Haha. Yes China is a third world country with 600 million living below one dollar a day. I heard that the CCP PANDA XI is giving away 76 usd to poor people because they can’t eat food. Philippines should donate to them:)
