Maybe a fault of the sound IC. Or maybe the speaker is damaged. But first check for all the capacitors and traces of the circuit board- A common problem of the old electronics

Bhai mere radio mein kharkharahat thi toh maine gang capacitor ko thoda adjust kar diya. Lekin ab woh koi bhi FM station nahi pakad raha hai. Aur FM mode mein sirf ek MW station pakad raha hai. Main usey kaise theek karu? Gang ko bht bar re-adjust kar ke bhi dekh liya, koi improvement nahi hai. Please help! 🙏

So, Philips sold their license to TPV or TP vision-an chinese company. Same is the case for europe. But TPV only manufactures in the behalf of Philips. The set was originally designed by philips. Now, one may say that TPV uses cheap chinese parts and the build quality is not good and it is true but still depends on personal preference. (Every radio here has a warranty of 6 months but you may find difficulty in claiming warranty) Philips Champion IN RL384TV/N is a 4band radio and I have that radio. It is a good one. The bands are FM MW SW(19m-60m) TV. The price is 1349/-. Philips Prince DL225 is a good radio. It has 3 bands - FM MW SW(25m-75m). It has a mrp of 1199/-(price may increase by 50 rupees). Apart from these, Philips Tiger RL191 (Rs.949/-) is a FM AM radio (shortwave band is not there). Philips Jawan is a 3 band FM MW USB radio. It uses R20 batteries and it costs Rs. 1449/- Philips Bahadur DL167/94 costs around Rs.949/-. 3 Band FM MW SW(25m-49m) Philips Trishul RL118/94 is a 3 band radio -FM MW SW(25m-49m). It has 3 power mode -charging(around 4.5 hours with single charge), External AC, external Battery. price Rs.1599/-. Philips SurKiran RL205/94 is a 3 band FM MW SW(19m-25m) radio with a price tag of Rs.1199/- These are the radios currently on sale by Philips. Philips radios are still good. If you maintain your radio properly, they will still work for years. You asked about Sony Radios. I don't know if sony still makes them or not but please consider these models- ICF 306, ICF-P36. All these models are FM AM(no sw band). Their price are very high. When buying radios consider buying it from offline brick and mortar stores or check the sellers very carefully when online. If you want to use AROMA radios you can buy them. No problem it at the end of the day comes to personal preference. But use the radio you currently have. Thank You. Actually I got this one by from my uncle near. It not working because I open the circuit n apply power supply in wrong polarity. So transistors got damaged. It has METAL TRANSISTORS AC 118 two transistors. No one near my area don't repair this radio because it is two band radio. Mechanics said we take only 5 band radio for servicing. We don't service this old radio. It's very difficult to change the transistors n that one now a days not available they said . LUCKILY my relatives uncle is a radio mechanic. I give this one to near him. He changed the two transistors n one pf capacitor n change the GANG . Now it's working. Am very happy now. It's working. How can I listen SW Stations? My language is TELUGU. I think in SW very rare telugu programs came. In AROMA COMPANY RADIO SW ranges from 19m-60m . MW ranges from 520khz to 1600khz. I love Radios very much sir. Rply sir
@@AshokKumar-jn3kq You are a lucky man as it is hard to get radios repaired nowadays. To listen to shortwave, just take a long wire about 25metres in length and attach one end of the wire to any metal wire and the other end to the radios antenna. This will give you a very good reception. Also, Shortwave reception is usually good in early morning and after sunset and best at night. I think there are NOT a lot of Telegu shortwave stations but there is Radio Srilankas Hindi programme in 25m band from 6AM everyday. It plays old songs. There are many other hindi programmes as well like Reach Beyond Australia Hindi at 25m from 6PM also there is PBC (Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation), CRI Hindi Programme (China Radio International) at 25m, 49m. There are some religious hindi stations as well in 31m band. Few english stations currently on air are :- BBC World Service is at SW 25m, 49m, 212m. From 3:30 Am to 7:30Am & 3:30PM to 7:30 PM. China Radio Internation english presentation: Beijing Hour is at SW 25m from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM. Selfie at around 41m band from 5:30Am to 6:00 Am. Studio+ is at 31m from 7:30AM to 8:30AM and 4:30PM to 5:30PM. Radio Thailand♧ is around 41m (English). NHK world News is at around 31m from about 7:30 in the morning and evening. Voice Of America (VOA) ♧ is at around 25m. Live New Studio is around SW 19m. Here they talk about bible and other religious aspects. ♧avialability subjected to your current location. You can get original radio online but check the sellers. Philips has sold its consumer electronics license to TPvision Tech. So TPV manufactures on behalf of Philips. Its not fake and it was a necessary on behalf of philips as they were incurring a lot of losses in this segment. Appario retail is a good seller in Amazon. Please buy ONLY if the product is Amazon Prime enabled or Flipkart assured. Please check the rating of the seller before buying and after buying if you see the package is torn or the box is damaged please return and ask for a replacement. The sellers are the main culprit here, they sell old part with new body sometimes but good sellers don't do it. Buying from brick and mortar retailer is an incredible option. ¹ CLEAN THE LENS ²Check if the open/close switch below the disc tray is working or not. ³check if the belt in the pulley is okay or not. ⁴ check the voltages in the 5pin rmc connector to the disc tray which provides the open/close voltage change. Measure the voltages using a voltmeter or a multimeter. (The voltage is somewhere around 5.05v apprx). If the voltage reading is not correct then please ¹change the connector or ² Apply some contact cleaner ³ If the above steps doesn't help then please check for all faulty capacitors or check the traces of the printed Circuit board.
