Hello and good day, I have seen ur video really very detailed and use full ! Further more can u help me out with the same issue but with the different model 47PFL7008K/12 Power light blink twice and then nothing . I am very regret full to help me out with this issue Looking forward with kind regards Narmi from Germany
His repairing job,he starting to getting smarter than most.He changed the capacity of the old capacitor higher in voltages like 10-25v more.So the IC modulator doesn't works as hards and absorbing more heats to be killing the IC easily.
Hi thanks for the info posted here. I have a problem with my philips 32PFL8404H. I have three blinking red lights and a pause of almost 2 seconds. It first started off with the display going off for about 2.5 seconds continiously. Is there a specific component that i should be looking for. i have some technical repair skills already. Thanks
I see a 40pfk4007/K12 in the back of ur Workbench, can u tell me whats broken in this one? No Power but good voltages on the Inverter board, is it the mainboard too?
I changed the IC but not the transistor so as you told me before. When I turned the tv on it becomes with the philips blue screen but then I think the IC damaged again. It gave some smoke from the inside. What can I do more?
Dear sir, thank you for your videos!! I have a PHILIPS 42pfl3403d/12 with no audio, no video and no power. Only 6 blinks of red light. I measure the Stand By voltage and is OK (3.40V). I measure the Power On voltage and is OK (3.3V). But 12 volt is zero. What is the problem? Thank you!!
Thanks for the video, your videos are very helpful. Just wanted to know how did you finger out the this IC need changing? It will be very helpful if you show how to find the fault. Thanks again.
This IC had a hole in it you could see, that round black blotch is not supposed to be there. That's it's innards spilling out. The cap although not burst. It was fat and suspect. They are failed or starting to fail when the can bulges. Which is probably what took out the IC. When an IC fails there is usually visual evidence. They ground out internally and heat up. Poof. Lets the pixies out every time.
Hi, I have a Philips TV 55PFL6097K / 12 (ZH1T1310006518) that can no be turned on. When the cable is plugged in, there is no image on the screen and the (On / Off) lamp is not on. If the Power button on the TV is pressed, nothing happens and the On / Off lamp does not light up, if the Power button is pressed on the remote control or any other button on the remote control, nothing happens except the On / Off lamp lights up in red. After a few minutes there is still no picture but the On / Off light is constantly blinking twice in red at regular intervals (approx. every 3 seconds). Is there a specific component that i should be looking for ? Thanks .
Could you solve the problem in your tv ? I have the same problem with you, if you sol ved it, how could you repaired and which parts did you change? Thanks a lot.
a) North American quality assurance agencies (mainly USA & Canada) have high standards that must be met. Another way to say it: They do NOT accept garbage. Philips, in its many years of experience in the consumer market for audio/tv devices, does NOT appear with sanctions here. b) The big problem with current TVs is the quality of the LEDs (LED strips). The new LG/Philips and Samsung models already use LEDs with internal Zener protection built into their own bodies, that is, a Zener Diode as a voltage regulator on each LED that makes up the strip. It is easy to check, it can be measured with the DMM in Diode Test function if that individual piece has it or NOT, that is, a reading of around 0.7xxx is obtained in forward bias and infinite in reverse bias when placing the test probes on each LED. Another way to put it, LG/Phiilips & Samsung "are not resting on their laurels"... I am not defending the companies mentioned. Let them defend themselves! I only expose what as a service technician I find in my daily work. To make it even clearer, I don't have favorite brands, all manufacturers have their faults; the way to improve to compete in the market is your absolute responsibility and that is none of my business. All the best.
Good job. In my PFL8404 suddenly image became very dark and does not refresh (if change to console, can see shadows from the image PC, and vice versa) ¿any idea?
Thank You for video. I changed that both of them, but after i turned on TV this IC burnet out from same place, i used same size capacitor as original, could this be the case, that i have to use same capacity capacitor as You did so it wont burn out IC?
capacitor if it is ever higher than the original. for 10 or 15 volts does not break anything. even does not cause any problems. I have tried this not once but 10,000 times. does not make it smaller than the board's. with voltage
Thank You for answer, so i just need to put also bigger capacitor and i should be fine? Do You know why it burns put in first place? What causes it to burn out?
I have changed capasitor for same as You did, but still something is burning out FDS6930B and in exact same place. Where could there be any more problem that may cos that?
Hello, my Philips TV 47PFL8404H / 12 makes an unbearable sizzle even without being connected to the internet (I disconnected all devices). I brought him repaired and the salesman told me that I had to buy another one ... can you give me your opinion on the provenance? thank you.
Kam nje Sharp Aquos.problemi eshte se nuk ndizet fladh drita jeshile dhe duet ta heq fisa ere nga priza deri sa te ndizet cfare duet te kete kapacitor apo software
Hi, thanks for all your videos. I need your help please with my Philips Tv (37PFL5604H/12). TV only shows a red light blinking 3 times every 2 seconds. A curiose thing is that when i do the manual software upgrade (reconnecting the TV to the Mains/AC Power while pressing "ok" button) the tv starts to work perfectly. The problem is that every time i turn off the TV the blinking red light returns, and the tv will not work again till i install the software again. Thank you very much.
Hi,i have the same tv,but on mine led blinks 2 times and after a2 seconds blinks 3 times an repeat that sequence continuously, sometimes when I try to start it with the remote the screen lights on with black image for 1 second then turn off ,do u know what should be the cause of this error?or interpretate the sequence of led error ,thanks.
I have this problem philips 46pfl8008s lcd standby no backlight inside is everything is good no one is burning standby light after three or five minute come But not displaying no music please help me
if you have a 6v capacitor. on tv you can change it. 25v or 35v. just do not change. as 330uF. you can not change it less than 6v. more than 6v is possible. there will never be a problem because of the higher ratings in the capacitor than 25v or 35v
Unglaublich was sich Philips damit leistet 😐
dear sir I have Philips TV Model 55pfl6007k/12 . have one problem TV does not on when I press the remote button. then the red light will flash but not on please do you have solution with this problem
Mostly it will be an blown capacitor, an IC or even an small SMD fuse. Before taking everything apart, try to power cycle first to check if there is some problems with the PSU inside of the TV and if the TV doesn't turn on then disassembly
@@elvissoldatic6680 When you open this TV, you get two kits There is a power supply and a mainboard I found a big chip in the center of the mainboard, You can warm it up a bit with a hairdresser, If you don't have a heat gun, Then turn on the TV and check, I hope you fix it, Have fun.
wrong repair because you replace 6 volt cap. with 35 volts cap. capester value must b 5%. up in future if reg. ic shorted then 35 volt cap. must b damage main ic because of over voltage cap.
you have no connection to repair. smaller than 6v do not. higher than 6v. it doesn't hurt anything. the capacitor withstands up to 35v. if you have a 16v capacitor you also install a 10v capacitor. you damage the board or ic. if you have a 16v capacitor. and you install 35v. works perfectly. only with (UF) can you go. 3% down high.
