Wow that was 5 ft from being swept in Washington. They got lucky. Washington will be much better next season.

Phillies end the season with a 95-67 record! It's been a great year for the Phillies but my confidence with the pitching rotation is next to non-existent... I hope they can turn it on when October comes!

@@cjquinn729 lol what are you drunk? Nola's two seam fastball has been nothing but a cookie all year long with giving up the most HR's (yeahhhh boy Nola Day! LET'S GO!) and Suarez isn't himself at all and they don't have a legit 5th starter... After that you have Wheeler and Sanchez with a bullpen that's mediocre at best and that is not enough to advance in the postseason. Yeah the offense has been streaky but the offense is the reason why this team is in the position they're in right now so overall I'm WAY more worried about the pitching compared to the offense. If they get knocked out early it won't even bother me since writing has been on the wall since 2021... Not enough pieces to win it all!

Phillies pitching staff has been lacking for years. It's better now than past seasons, but still not where it needs to be.

@@tomd.3082 Yes! But what's it gonna take for the Phillies to realize that... a whole decade of screwing up? I don't get it and I don't understand how that front office can continue like this every year with pitching that just isn't enough.

PHI need to become more serious in the playoffs.. they are making a lot mistake load bases and no runs… they can’t afford that mistake on the playoffs

@tigerburn81 I’m really, really, really hoping Rob Thomson is done after this season. I also think Walker has had a tough season but he’s been injured a lot this season & maybe he’s still not feeling right or in his head too much?? I know he was good with the Mets & I don’t blame Domb for signing him but Phils would cut their losses if he still isn’t performing next season.

@@lovesgucci1 The Walker has been in a bad mood this year and has not been able to achieve very good results, especially as a starting pitcher, but if he can achieve good results in 2025, will he be appointed as the starting pitcher again?
