Anthony Santander absolutely clutch in this game

Shout out to Bryan Baker who mowed down the big Phillies bats in the 8th to keep the Orioles ahead 3-2. And then a big 3 run bottom of the 8th to ice them. Great game O's! G-Rod was wonderful.

I was working as an event staff member today, those Phillies fans were LOUD. It was hard to tell when the Orioles or Phillies did something well. Philly represented very well today, even despite the loss.

That comeback game was exactly what the Orioles needed! Sidenote, props to the Philly fans coming to Baltimore today. It was a different vibe. Reasons I loved today's win. Grayson needed to pitch better after going down 2 runs, resilient. Mullins defense to prevent further damage. Santander is productive at every bat (let's get this guy into the All-Stars). Kimbrel closing the show like boss. All in all, I'd really like to see Philly in the World Series!

I'm a diehard ORIOLES fan, but honestly, it looked like BROAD STREET in Philadelphia over the weekend with all the PHILLY fans in town. I walked from Federal Hill to Fells Point and for about 2 hours of walking, I saw 70% PHILLY fans and 30% ORIOLES fans. They (PHILLY fans) took over the city this weekend.

I really wonder how the Os are gonna keep even half of these guys. The entire team is worthy of starting on ANY team in the MLB, some of them are going to be commanding massive contracts from teams all over the league. Henderson is going to be offered several 100 million by basically every team who needs a shortstop. Westburg and Cowser will likely be offered well over 100 million themselves and Santander possibly even more. Jorge Mateo as well. Adley may actually be the most valuable piece the Orioles have so I highly doubt they let him go. Mountcastle will probably WANT to stay in Baltimore regardless as he's the clear cut starter here. I suppose the Os COULD look for an upgrade at 3rd but really Urias is more than serviceable. Even the pitching staff has been great which is weird to me since I've been an Os fan entire life and usually they are letting elite pitchers walk without getting the best out of them, now they are developing them properly. And they even snagged a true ace in Burnes. Good stuff. Hopefully this new ownership group is dead set on making the Os the juggernaut of the East and we can keep this core together for a very long time. They are more than talented enough, by a long way, to win the world series and have been consistently in the top 1-5 in power rankings for the last few years. This team is magic. Can't believe I missed speaking about Ced. Dude is a monster. When he's on, there isn't a better fielder in center in the league and he can rake at the plate as well.
