I always find it interesting when TV channels like ITV or the BBC report on news like this within their respective channels.

They should have both gone, the programme needs a really good makeover. New presenters and a brand new format.

Look how Fern Britten was thrown under the bus...How Eamon and Ruth also got treated....This is ITV at it's worst....They should both go, we should have new presenters...As for the Queens lying in state, of course they jumped the damned queue, special footage, my foot!...Can't bear them, either of them, but Phil was the one who got Holly in there to start with!....Pot and kettle, come to mind.

This is probably just the beginning. Lets see what happens when the super injunction runs out in July.

I don’t know if it’s just rumours but I did hear that schofield himself came out purely because he was also involved with an underage gay partner and came out to deflect from that backlash. If they think their ratings were dropping before, they will be even worse now. Why do their personal lives have to interfere with their professional lives! I don’t think Holly will be able to push the ratings back up on her own. They were a team. I never watched the show, but it was on tv in the gym, so I got the jist of parts of it. Philip was a good presenter. All those years he worked there, why did he have to go now?! It’s kind of like locking the stable door after the horse has bolted. Hollie is right, it won’t be the same without him. I reckon Hollie’s been advised of what to do. Her career was really made through being with Philip. Without him, I doubt that her career will take off anyway. It’s kind of sad. Philip can’t be held responsible for what his brother does. I’m thinking that he might not be the bully here. Sounds like he’s being pressured by someone. It’s all a bit tragic. I used to like Phil when he presented “The Cube”. He won’t see my comment, he might have a dark past, but no one is perfect. I think Hollie will be lonely on the sofa by herself. I don’t know why they need to sack him for his private affairs.

It's not the Twitterati or the tabloids, it's Phil conveniently forgetting to mention to his co host that his brother is a child sex offender.

Good riddance to a fake nasty individual. Schofield s not the boss of the show, I'm glad the real bosses decided to show him who is and got rid of him. I can't see fake Wiloughby lasting too long either, maybe it would be just better to axe the show.
