One of my favorite trips/vacations ever!
I traveled to Philadelphia and went 9 Wrestling shows and did like a gazillion Meet & Greets in just 4 days!!
And I saw and hung out with some friends I haven't seen in a long time!! It was so much fun!
And.....
Dreams come true.
4/7/2024, at SPARK Joshi TRAILBLAZE 2024, I was finally able to meet my favorite Professional Wrestler in the world, Tam Nakano, and tell her how much she means to me and tell her that she's my inspiration to train to become a Professional Wrestler at NJPW Academy at the LA Dojo.
I had the most amazing meet & greet ever with her. I showed her my little paragraph in Japanese I wrote down for her on my phone which said:
"あなたは私の一番好きなレスラーです。
だから今日あなたに会えたことは夢のあなたです。
あなたの戦いを見ることができて本当に嬉しいです。
あなたを見てプロレスラーになることを決めて、今は新日本プロレス L.A. DOJOでトレーニングをしてます。
感動する。 You inspire me.
たむちゃん、ありがとう。"
She held my phone in place, read it, and was so happy and said, "OH! INSTAGRAM!".....
She remembered my Instagram post from back in February (where I explained how she's my inspiration and hoped I could meet her one day to tell her), without me even mentioning anything about the post at all.
It really touched my heart. 🥺
And we both said thank you to each other and shook hands. She was so kind and she understood how important this moment was to me. It was so special. It was the best moment ever. I'm so incredibly happy. I don't have the words to explain it.🥺❤️
