Our club got Philo to stop through Lima Ohio between stops last year and he spent 4-5 hours with us, clinic and played our league night. I got to play with him, i ask him what's it like to be Philo he just laughed, had a sweet time, Thanks Philo.
Watched this video on Thursday. Went and played a round using philo's tips for driving and putting. First thing I noticed was I was hitting gaps way more cleanly(I'm notorious for hitting first available), my drives had more pop behind them and finally the anhyzer drive made sense. Was able to shoot 5 down on a local course which was a PR for me felt great! Edit: best shot was a hole I normally play forehand I tried doing the anhyzer philo talked about the long drifting coming in for that straight landing no hyzer finish and was able to hit it perfect!
sure.. but philo probably put a lot of force on his arm, so when he let go it bounced back up... it's called being nervous, or out of the comfort zone i guess
