@@CarlChristensen64 As if the Democrats don't. But then they also tend to judge people based on their skin color. Especially these days. If you're not white, you're welcomed. Oh yes, you must hate your own white race and bow down to people of color as well, letting then do whatever they wish. And allow your children to be exposed all sorts of depravity. Then you're "in."
@@theythemgae9025 pretty much EVERYTHING she says is absurd but you don't notice it all the time, because our brains are, I think, programmed to just hear things as being sensible.
Goddamn, the kid answer to "is father Christmas going to be allowed into the country after Brexit" being "yes, because the police can't get him in the air" almost killed me
Lol. She is actually right to say who knows, because none of the gospels specify how many there were. Also, the account says they were Astrologers, rather than wise men.
I’m visualizing the faces of a couple of hellfire and brimstone priests from my childhood when she explains, "The baby Jesus wasn’t an ordinary baby. He was born with a big yellow circle round his head. Which must have been hell for Mary to push out, especially when you think that nothing had ever been in or out of her down below before." Perfection!
Not just this. There are over 6 hours... Cunk on Britain (5eps) earth (5eps), Shakespeare, others in 2019 (6eps)... She's also gold as 'kath' in "after life".
"Christians shouldn't celebrate Christmas because it isn't in the Bible, but instead should be in Church, which isn't in the Bible, reading the Bible, which isn't in the Bible "😲🤣🤣
@@parrotmaster8787 church is in the Bible though. And Bible is just a word meaning book. Old testament is mentioned and quoted a lot in New testament, and surprisingly Old testament from the very first book of Moses has mentions of Jesus and his role as saviour. It starts with what God said to Adam and Eve and to Abraham, who passed it down to generations after. Isaya wrote prophecy about the birth and death of Jesus too.
I just discovered this remarkable parody series today. Diane Morgan's acting is a combination of serious talent and remarkable powers of self control - there's no way I could deliver those lines without bursting out laughing! And that writing! So much genius involved in this production.
"Incredibly, the day he was born was just the first day of his life". I dont know who writes these but this is well beyond average British humor. I love these.
It's written by Charlie Brooker (the guy who co-wrote Black Mirror, Screen Wipe,Weekly Wipe, where Philomena first appeared, co-wrote Nathan Barley etc. etc. he has a few credits), Diane Morgan (Philomena) and the cast, and Philomena's boyfriend Sean. Sorry, Ben. His real name is Ben.
@@papermache--origami5653 LOL...yes. Pretty much monitored 24/7 as well. Either through phones, laptop or main pc. You can probably tell by the speed of replies. Take care and have fun.
"In my opinion batman doesn't exist, he's just a man called Bruce. But I think superman has definitely met santa clause" What a classy and respectful young man, I loved this.
Santa and superman has defiantly met cose their are not real. Batman is only a man called bruce who's rich and mortal. We all understand the fine line between real Super heroes and the other super heroes.
Apparently Brooker had the character of Philomena down as a dim posho, but Morgan's interpretation won him over. She really has perfect comic timing. I mean, you can't write lines for interviews like that. The bit about bread sauce and the long pause for Jay Raynor to squirm around in - that was Morgan's natural ability and ad libbing. And the shoplifting - I'm still laughing about that.
Hermione Ziggeraut I just love the way she delivers that acidic satire and keeps that gormless expression, holding your nerve in an interview like that can't be easy. Although with Cox he's totally in on it.
"Despite being the stuff of nightmares, Santa is the world's most popular home intruder. Probably because, unlike other home intruders, he doesn't leave a turd on your living room carpet, but a pile of gifts."
I'm an American, and we're just now seeing Diane Wilson on American TV, as Philomena Cunk. SO FUNNY. I've watched her documentaries on American History and laughed the whole time. I have to wonder, what are all these intelligent people she interviews really think of her questions and comments. She is great I want to see more of her.
Professor Kate Williams gives Professor Brian Cox a run for his money as funniest interviewee. I'm sure she and Philomena are trying make each other crack up at one point.
@@dontbefatuousjeffrey2494 and Santa, he sees you when you’re SLEEPING? I understand watching me while I’m up to see if I’m being naughty, but what on earth could I do in my sleep?
@@nohooligans888 The thing I want to know is, how does this perverse peeping tom manage to conceal himself so well when he's clearly over 120kg and in a big red and white suit and hat? If I saw a guy fitting that description outside somebody's window, I'd be on 112 faster than you can say knife 😕
He’s the patron saint of prostitutes (yes really) “Saint Nicholas is the patron saint of sailors, merchants, archers, repentant thieves, prostitutes, children, brewers, pawnbrokers, unmarried people, and students in various cities and countries around Europe”- ye olde google
I would like to thank all of your team for such hi-grade work. That's very impressive guys. That's the talent, writing, scripting, directing, operator's work, animation, timing, jokes, locations, acting... perfection in all of it Please continue if you have such possibility) Thank you, that is a bullseye in comedy for me.
I love how in every video she looks up towards the sky in wonder, as if trying to decipher the mysteries of nature and the universe with much effort 😄😄
"We often told to feel sorry for those who are alone at Christmas but these days it's all of us and thats Brilliant" Thats what my dad said on last Christmas eve before he went to buy milk
In my opinion it's not only funny but also deeply moving in many aspects. And I like it that in the end she still asks what is the meaning of Christmas.
I had to stop the video, I was doubled-over laughing when she said "...that tree remained the most heavily decorated piece of wood at Buckingham Palace until the day Roger Moore was knighted".
