The thing about the /top play was that it wasn't even a BM move in the face of fair gameplay- Vikk wasn't supposed to be up there because you weren't supposed to be able to build in mid. It was just a scuffed counter to a scuffed glitch. MCM was so scuffed lmao
This 1000% over, I still remember debating goobers who were arguing that /top was cheating. Random viewers who didn't know Technoblade were SO salty whenever he was successful in MCM.
Techno's laugh is so freaking good. Man knew he was embodying pure mischief and was living for it. I love it as well that his version of "griefing" people's builds was to break a block or two directly in front of them, then nodding at them. Zero harm done while still being entirely chaotic.
@@marksmit8575 Oh yeah for sure, but he was also just pretty chill? Wild stuff to see from such a powerful player, but when he killed people in pvp he would always give them their stuff back. I know plenty of gamers who smuggly keep shit. Homie was just honorable af o7
Techno’s entire brand was really just, “how can I exploit this for views and monetary gain?” and then he did it and revolutionized it and made a meme out of it so we loved him for it
I don't think people cared about /top because the participants weren't supposed to be able to build in the center and because people were, Techno was at a huge disadvantage because he was stuck at the bottom.
Plus the only other option would've been to either die to the really slow lava or just vibe off to the side until admins stepped in, since he couldn't build at that point.
Yk what is really sad. The two people that were considered immortal by the internet have died in the same year. This one. God save the queen and technoblade never dies o7
/top happened during a particularly scuffed event in the already low budget Minecraft Monday. All the heads and loot from players was being dropped at middle (no one was told this in advance). Building was supposed to be forbidden in the middle, but apparently that restriction didn't extend upwards. Techno couldn't build up to the skybase that shouldn't have existed in the first place. /top was intentionally added so you could get out of mines before the boarder came in. IIRC, the boarder was fast as well.
I loved this about Minecraft Monday and early MCC, if someone found a glitch or something like it, it was the best content out there. It was so much fun. It was never really about winning, just the fun of the event. Like even the Wilbur glitch in early MCC, not a single person was angry but if that happened now people would be so upset. Because, yes it's unfair for the tournament, but it was so funny
I've been cry-laughing for the past 5 mins. It still hurts to lose my favorite RU-vidr but at least I know that I can still laugh at the good times we've had with him
Minecraft Monday was right before minecraft got taken over by Gen z. So obviously there was no saltiness. Kids were on roblxo and fortnite thinking minecraft was dying
Very funny 😆. Thank you for sharing! If your reading this I hope you have a great day and know. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 NIV
