@@icecreamsundd honestly as a kid I would get really emotional. I teared up on the Doofenshmirts backstories and literally balled my eyes out when Perry left during this movie
The best gag by far in the movie, That or just the "Wait you peed on my couch that was a conscious decision!" moment (i probably messed up the qoute but eh)
The best part is it's true like the time we got the episode focused on Vanessa and she had a relationship with Ferb, who appeared in the episode without Phineas
I'm a Cinematography minor and this movie has some of the best screenwriting I've seen in a low budget kids film. They upped the animation a bit and added some good music but the writing takes the cake. If you want to make a good story the best thing to do is push your protagonist to the breaking point and they did that so well in this. Perry had to blow his cover and give up his host family in order to save their lives and Phineas had to face a massive betrayal of trust that made him genuinely angry for the first time in the series history. It's my favorite Disney channel movie to date. There are other good ones but they had no obligation to make a good movie and they decided to make art instead. I started this movie with poor expectations and finished it shedding literal tears over a platypus. I'm impressed.
You'd probably like The Dragon Prince, it's a "kid's show" with amazing writing and characters. I love to analyze things and it can be analyzed for YEARS I swear. (Bonus: it's made by one of the creators of Avatar: The Last Airbender.)
Didn’t both spongebob movies did something like that? They pushed spongebob to his limits, and they upped the animation if you compare it to the episodes
Buford literally says in the episode where LOVEMUFFIN Pushes the earth away from the sun "This must be one of those special episodes Phineas is yelling at candace again."
Fun fact: In episode, "Last Day of Summer" I think, where they revisit all songs throughout the show, the moment they sing this summer song from the movie, they're like: "When have we heard it?"
@@gabriellopez4100 GUYS, I just found a SNEAK PEEK FOR THE NEW PHINEAS AND FERB REBOOT SERIES!!! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Wzp4ROJL5jM.html…
What always stuck with me about this movie is that scene when Isabella finally kissed Phineas and he was really happy about it but then their memories got erased.
Its even more dark considering how he has robot limbs and robotic parts on his skin meaning evil Dr Doof quite possibly experimented on him and put that worlds Perry through hell just to turn him into a soilder. Kinda like Nebula from Guardians in the Galaxy in a way.

Anyone else remember the scene when they first opened the portal to the 2nd dimension? Super dramatic with camera angles and lighting to build suspense, and - "Uh... It's a couch." (Beat) "Hey, I've got an idea! Let's switch my couch with that one!" This movie was pure gold.
The Blinking Brownie Milo’s Murphy is probably what they’re talking about, especially since they’re made from the same people and had a crossover episode
my favorite part about this movie was; "wait so we wont remember today" "nope" *isabella kisses phineas* "LET IT RIP CARL!" "WAIT NO NO!" and then they REFERENCED that! "isabella kissed me, but i got my mind erased!" "wait what?" "you just wait 20 years"
Alakazamlover4 yeah I love that it’s the type of show where they can just break the 4th wall and reference stuff that they shouldn’t know about because they got their mind erased or it took place 10 years in the future or it was a dream inside a dream or it was a non-canon Star Wars crossover or whatever
I only just realized that the other dimension p and f are pale cos they don’t get sunlight and they stay inside. That’s actually clever but sad at the same time Edit: damm never got this amount of likes before
But then wouldn’t it be sorta dangerous to go out during a sunny day because their skin is so used to the darkness? Like people with very sensitive skin?
@@evanlight671 Well Earth-Doof, at least the Tri-State region, seems to be pretty dull anyway; likely a result of the pollution caused by Doof-2's factories and other machinery; so they might be okay in that regard. Of course, who said there wasn't offscreen application of sunscreen?
I love how obvious Perry is, but get rid of the Phedora and he’s a new person! I feel like Perry also realizes how dumb everyone else is for not noticing
I actually can't remember what happens in the movie I haven't seen it in a long time and I remember loving every minute and moment of that masterpiece of a film and I'll try to find it and get a refresher of it
There was an "episode-sized" sequel where they showed what happened after that, where you see Candace trying to relax but actually she can't because now it's Doof's ex that's attacking and she just made Doof evil again!
Ow my Bones is summer that good anymore? i mean, it was good because you could go out with friends, at the pool, at theme parks, and other exciting places because school ended. but, with quarantine happening, summer just feels like quarantine just without anything to do and that is what sucks about it, you aren’t able to go anywhere exciting because A: your parents don’t want you to go places because they’re worried about you getting infected or B: most of the exciting places are closed
Nick - Phineas is like really mean in this movie Me - What do you mean Phineas is always- Phineas - GET ON THE TRIKE Edit - thank you for all the likes
I thought that my summer was 104 days until it happened and watched an episode of the show once a day for the whole summer, I got a little too sad when I got the Truth
@@claysoggyfries except thats hes a really creative sweet guy. He helps his friends with anything they need and goes above and beyond to do so. Hell when Isabella got her tonsils taken out he attempted to make the biggest ice cream sundae ever for her (tho Ferb botched it with taking home the wrong blueprints.) While he isnt aware of her feelings for him he's just genuinely kind and happy to be with her and their friends.
Phineas: "Isabella!" Isabella: "Hit it Carl!" Phineas: "Wait! Wait! Wait!" Who remembers this part? The only time we see this again is in the last episode song.
Gio they did eventually get together nearing the end of season 4, they were 18 and going off to college and they finally admitted their feelings for each other.
Infinity War Is A "Crossover" Of Almost All Movies In The MCU The Phineas And Ferb Movie Is A "Crossover" Of Every Invention Made In Every Episode A Real Crossover I Think Is Batman And Godzilla 2 Different Things In A Movie
And then when our Doof is upset that he went through all that stuff and never became as evil and 2D Doof is just like “well maybe if you had lost that train...”
Sarah Lamper I think the real reason Doof-1 isn’t as evil as Doof-2 is because Doof-1 was destined to be good so that he could become the inventor of time travel, Professor Time.
I agree. Been binging the show a whole lot and haven't gotten board or tired of it. The writers use it to their advantage so well. They constantly play around with it and find ways to subvert it or have it play out in a really unique way
Phineas: *gets angry at Perry being an agent that kicks ass* Also Phineas: *Ignores Candace getting angry at them for building dangerous contraptions and assumes everything is okay despite constantly saying shes gonna bust them*
Yeah, forget about being raised by wild cats, having your parents not show up for your own birth, being treated as insignificant and being humiliated by a anthropomorphic mammal. Losing a chu-chu train is UNFORGIVABLE!!
When all their inventions started showing up in an epic nostalgic callback sequence, I had one of the biggest "stand up in your seat and fist pump" moments with my body covered in chills/goosebumps. This show really was a work of art and always is on either my top 5 or top 10 favorite animated shows of all time (it always flip flops between spots 5-7).
At 7:11 , there’s even more detail there that you didn’t get. The little “D” in the corner is the same as the regular doofenshmirtz has when he pulls out a handkerchief in the time travel episode. The continuity in the movie and the show in general is just insane.
Actually they had an episode in the dystopian dimension about how do the citizens rebuild and the cyborg OWCA agents get back to their owners. Plus they reference the mind wiper in the episode when Stacy finds out Perry is a secret agent
Perry: quietly looking at the photos of himself and the boys, remembering the fun times they had Background music: ME AND MY BRO WE’RE TAKING CARE OF THINGS, WENT FROM A PAIR OF JOKERS TO A COUPLE OF KINGS,
@@olafs20016 A lot of times when a studio is adapting a very well known property to the big screen, the producers will usually not care about it or understand what makes it good. This is how we get movies like Justice League or Eragon. What they are based on is amazing, but the studios didn't understand them at all, and so the final movie is terrible. With a TV movie like Phineas and Ferb, the people who made the movie were the ones already making the TV show, so not only did they care about making sure the characters were treated well, but they also understood everything that made the show great, and could dial it up too 11. Also, there is much loss financial risk involved in making a TV movie, so the studio would stay mostly out out of production, and not force the movie into the generic formula that many kids movies fall into.
10:26 He talks a lot about little details in the movie, and this is just another one of those. That pink screen in the background is from the secret agency under Isabella's house, ya know where her dog works.
I only got 5 minutes in before leaving to watch the movie. I'm coming back when I'm done and if I find out you didn't tell people to watch Milo Murphy's Law, I am suing
