Phnom Penh 🇰🇭 blew my mind.
I, like many Americans, expected Cambodia to be a land full of poverty and tragedy, haunted by the ghosts of its past.
Instead, I found a dynamic city vibrating with novelty and energy. Towering skyscrapers dotted the skyline, while bustling streets & tuk-tuks kept the culture alive.
Despite glaring disparities (it’s insane), the wealthy class in Phnom Penh do not shy away from flaunting their riches.
My time in the city was a whirlwind of excitement, filled with new Russian friends and eye-opening experiences that shattered my preconceived notions.
Cambodia is a place where foreigners, or Barangs as they are called, can truly feel free, exploring endless possibilities in a land rich with history and excitement.
