Superyacht Phoenix II is built for the late Jan Kulczyk, at the time of his death the richest man of Poland. The yacht is seen maneuvering into the International Yacht Club Antibes (Jacht Kulczyka) www.superyachtfan.com/yacht/phoenix-2/
Wow, what a machine. Some technical stats: -length: 90 meters -beam: 13.8 meters -draft: 3.75 meters -cruising speed: 14 knots or 26 km/h -range: 11900 km -6 very luxurious cabins, crew of 28 -can accommodate 12 guests -features an ultra-modern stabilization system to reduce roll motion effect and ensure the ultimate comfort
No it's a very hard and not so good job. Making minimum wage, almost no real end of work (if guest needs something at 3:00 am crew has to be ready) working for a 12 month contract never seeing your family during that contract, and sometimes dealing with snobby asshole guests. Not the dream job.
Same komunały, lanie wody i unikanie detali.
I am truly surprised that they can med moor a ship that big with singled up lines. I wonder how those lines would hold up under high wind conditions or extreme tide changes
@@gordondewald8267 Ya well ... your comments make me wonder if you have any clue how these yachts are: a) fuelled b) loaded with supplies c) pick up guests d) docked for shore excursions where tendering isn't necessary e) Serviced and maintained f) Staffed g) Updated h) Shown and sold Do you think these things run on fairy dust? Do you think they have magic pantries and galleys that food magically appears in? Do you think that there is a civilization of people who live at sea 365 days per year? Do you think that shipyards and marinas should be unnecessarily wasteful with space? Or, and perhaps most likely, are you just a regular, run of the mill idiot?
@Hypnautica Thanks for the kind and considerate words. Very cutting edge but you missed the rhetorical question altogether. A simple there is no more space would have sufficed. Take your 600 million yacht and park them 2’ apart?? For all my lack of knowledge I know they are unlikely to run a bunkering barge to quayside or have a bowser attend them on the dock. Unlikely to remove or overhaul an engine but anything is possible.
The vessel shows superbly in this video. I would love to tour the interior, wouldn't you? Except for that giant eagle on her bow, I love this boat. That birdie can definitely go. >_
The boats are designed so you rarely see them in private areas, like in the suites. A LOT of thought goes into these things. I would hope so for the price!
Wow, it's kind of weird that Jan Kulczyk died only 16 days after this video was posted (and only 3 years after this father), which means he only had 6 years of use since it was built in 2010.
Its a beauty but i'd also want a small yacht that I cold operate on my own. This this is a damn fiberglass island. And with a crew no matter how far off shore you are you never really get any privacy.
It's made of steel and aluminium! You can have all the privacy you want. The crew only do what is required and if you don't want to see them then you won't
These yachts are designed so the only time you ever see the crew (they have separate crew entrances everywhere) will be when you are entering and leaving port (excluding the waiters that bring you food and drinks)
Wow, that's some zoom lens on the opening shots Mr.Photographer - impressive ! BUT with great respect, this whole package needs properly editing & completing. It's far too "bitty" as it stands, with alot of very random camera work. It didn't look as though it had been planned or thought out. You've got the content, now you need an editing script plus decent and appropriate/relevant audio.
can somebody explain why they didnt make a construction that y dont break your neck when you come down the stairs ? strange with those ropes crossing the deck !
You don't know that, his death stinks for a mile. He fake his death, to runaway from responsibility. Before his disappearance, he was prosecuted for illegal sale of Polish telecommunications network. So... use your common sense.
