In addition to the 2" screen plug not being used, was the plug that went into the lower corner of the oem bezel also not used? I can't find a matching plug for it on the new radio nor on the harness. Everything plugged right up except those two. I didn't know the 2" screens plug wasn't used until i saw your video.
Ive installed 2 of these in my 2014 mustang and couldn't get power to either of them. fuses were good. Harness plugged into everything. just aggravating.
Nice video you definitely made it look simple and I’ve change my shift or out on my 2010 and I have to say the newer mustangs are easier to work on in the 60 versions to tell you the truth, also I guess you lose your CD player is the only downside is that right? Do you think that’ll fit the 2005 Mustang I haven’t looked at it I’ll just look it up online but I’m sure it probably does they look the same
I can see that your video is from 9 months ago, would you please describe how it's been your experience with this audio system? I am about to order this for my Mustang but I would like to get some feedback from other owners. Thanks in advance for your help.
@@guillermogodoy5158 When I first set it up, I realized I didn't connect the small white plug to the back of the unit which is the main power plug (it doesnt connect to the car directly but is an extension off one of the main plugs from the radio. After that she booted right up. It only works when key is fully on though.
Thanks for the video. This helped with my install. This unit requires lots of customization to get it working right, but something I have noticed is the sound quality is poor. My bass is nonexistent and I miss the old sound with the oem stereo. Any way to get the bass working? Bass boost doesnt do anything and the eq settings work but don't result in better audio quality. Thanks.
Are you having any problems with it not turning on sometimes when you start your car? It worked great for a month and now occasionally it won’t power up or the air conditioner controls on the unit won’t do anything. It just blows hot air out of the front window defrost
Just received my unit last night and it did that when the main power plug wasn't connected properly (the small white one.) After removing the radio and reseating the connections tightly (until I heard them physically click into place) it works good now.
i did have to buy an extention as it was too short to do without. i am recording a update video this weekend for it. i suggest watching it before you buy one!

Hello, I bought that screen model the px6 for my 2013 Ford Mustang GT but the air worked for me the first day, the controls and everything but I don't know what touch to configure the controls and now it doesn't work I bought it through Amazon if anyone knows how to fix this I appreciate the help thanks

yes it is plug and play very easy to install however they tell you to upload a picture of your radio cluster and a/c so they set it up. however they still set mine up for a premium with dual a/c zone. and i cant change it because it doesnt have the software for mine. it works just always shows the dual climate controls
@@carlsgarage5883 well I bought mine and I'm still waiting for them to ship but I'm trying to do a install on a 06 Mustang which even if the climate controls don't work the way I'm wanting to I'll probably reposition the dial controls and button controls, thanks!
@@carlsgarage5883 Same, but I still love it. Also, I have a vert and live in Florida so the AC is either on Max or not on at all, so it isn't a deal breaker for me. If it lasts the length of the warranty I got, I think its a good deal.
Took my mustang to stereo people and they said this Tesla screen is good and All in all they could never get it hooked up right So now I’m with a stupid screen I’m so sorry I did this to my car Now need to find another to change this crap
