Oh boy, it's always a little weird when someone posts a video and you realize you've seen the exact individuals they're showing. Tucson's expo was in October, so I saw the blue tree monitor, the San Esteban chuckwallas, and some others about a month before you did! I wish I'd known you were going to be there; I would have tried to make it up!

Looks like there were some pretty unique babies at this expo! That timber rattler was incredible, and it seemed to have a rather docile nature. I'd love to meet that little guy 😊

Right now I just have two red hypo bearded dragons and I'm 16 years old, gotta breed them and start somewhere. Thanks again for introducing me to the Butterfly Agamids!

Awesome video and always amazing animals. I just picked up a Uro, Dav. Craziest thing happened after watching that video. I will remind you that I haven’t really come across many Uromastyx in person in like 15-16 years and I only see them online wild caught. I guess I need to get to more expos and shows to solve that problem but anyway I visited this reptile shop a few days after that video and they had a few for sale. I couldn’t believe it. I was wowed and pretty stoked. The animals appeared healthy, active, in proper weigh, no shed issues etc.. so I have a new little buddy to hang out with. These guys are amazing. Perfect size, docile, don’t need a small fortune to maintain and feed. I just don’t know if it’s male or female but I’m fine either or.

Question for you.. I live in the Phoenix area. Do you think a black-throated monitor would do well in an outdoor enclosure here? I am sure the heat of the summer wouldn't be an issue, but it does get fairly cold in the winter with overnight temps briefly dropping into the low 30s and even high 20s on occasion. I can't seem to find any information on whether monitors of any type hibernate or not.

I believe its tha eastern massasauga rattle snake. Thats strange i used to know some spots in wixom and milford Michigan with a few eastern massasauga rattle snakes. Just why they still wouldnt be in Minnesota. But there might still be some somewhere. Thats like if u look at the range of the diamond back watersnake according to googles satistics there not in michigan but i know of a couple spots where i used to catch them one spot on the huron river and another spot almost in the next county but still on the same river. Anyway love all your vids brother. Oh and sorry about the long comment i get a little carried away sometimes with my two cents worth lol

that is a shinisaurus crocadilarus or Chinese crocodile lizard they are critically endangered (850 left in 2010) they are from northern china but have been pushed into eastern Vietnam. i am lucky enough to breed these and i love them. i think that there needs to be more people like you asking these questions and helping a species . thanks (:

Probably the Massasauga rattlesnake. Last I knew you could still find them in places in northwestern Iowa, but that was like 20+ years ago.

The Massasauga. With all the wetland you have, it's very likely you still have them... We have them around Chicago, they're habitat is just places man doesn't frequent.

Dude I am sooooo regret I did not go to phoenix reptile expo. I live in Tucson and it is only 1.5 hour drive, I am too lazy to wake up at early morning during the weekends and there was a Tucson reptiles expo a month ago. There are so many amazing animals especially I see Chinese corc lizards in your vid, if I were you I will definitely pick them as the best lizard in the expo. They have almost the same situation as Burmese star tortoises and they are much harder to breed and thrive from what I have known.

Kinda wish we'd get a pattern morph in Western Hognose snakes. I love that they come in almost every color of the rainbow but something other than the Conda and Super Conda for pattern would be awesome. At the moment it seems Ball Pythons and Reticulated Pythons have the pattern genetics monopolized.

I know the other rattlesnake in Minnesota because I'm from and currently still live in MN it is the Eastern Massasauga.

What is the scientific or latin name for the giant chinese agama? I have been wanting to get a new pet lizard and Would really love to do more research on the breed.
