Phoenix : The Immortal Bird that Rises from the Ashes - Greek Mythology in Comics - See U in History Art: Marcus Aquino Color: Rod Fernandes #GreekMythology #Mythology #SeeUinHistory #History #MythologyExplained
Marvel's Phoenix seems to be a completely different creature then the one described here as their version is evil and seeks to destroy things. Where as in reality based on this description The Phoenix is a good creature.
Still my favorite mythological creature after all these years , for a concept that so simplistic the symbolism that's connected to it has made the firebird as timeless of a mystical being as dragons are to most people
There is a wonderful manga about the phoenix written by the master Osamu Tezuka called "Phoenix". It tells the history of Japan and its bond with the immortal bird from the birth of the Rising Sun Nation in the third century after Christ until the end of humanity in the year 3404, showing how the various incarnations of the character Saruta met the famous bird throughout history in various ways. Highly recommended, but it's a shame it was never finished.
The Phoenix is a really good symbol because it shows how we as human beings can also become reborn into new human beings, because we grow to be very wise.
In the Philippines, there is also a mythical bird just like the Phoenix, it was called Ibong Adarna (literally Adrana Bird). This bird has the physical appearance like a phoenix but, in a majestic rainbow color. The power of it is the serenading song, that could make a man fall asleep and when the man was under the spell, the bird would ‘poop’ into the man and it will become a stone.
Did You Know That Greece’s National Animal Is The Dolphin. That’s right: the dolphin, a friendly marine creature, is the symbol used to represent Greece - a fact unknown to many.🐬 Before diving head-first into the subject, a small clarification needs to be made. Many people believe Greece’s national animal is the phoenix, which is partially true; the phoenix is Greece’s national bird. And while it may be surprising to have a mythical creature as a national symbol, the country is not the only one; Scotland’s national animal, for example, is the unicorn, but we digress.
One of my favourite mythological animals. I consider it as my spirit animal and also have a tattoo on my forearm, reminding me that no matter how much I weaker I get, eventually in the end I become more stronger like the Phoenix ❤️🫶🏻🥰
you actually missed out on the people who worshipped the phoenix, a civilization that is aged 6000 years ago in the leavant even before the Persians and the Jewish, even this civilisation was called the Phonicians in reference to the phoenix.
Simorgh ( pheonix) exiating in Persian mythology years before appearing in Greek mythology. Also, random RU-vid channel in title: The pheonix! GREEK mythology!!! Pheonix: am I a joke to you?
In our country india there was also a devine bird just like phoenix called maya pakhshi or you can say as Garud . They both look like same and both are powerful birds but unlike phoenix, the mythical Garud was a devine bird and more than just a immortal bird . Its powers are beyound of immargination who defeted the king of gods the god of thunder indra
Garur is immensely powerful, far more than phoenix and it never dies like this. Never , it's absolute immortal. And besides garur has a whole race of itself..yes true.. Similarly, Kimpurusha is also described in Mahabharata and many other mystical beings.
The first time i saw Phoenix in Heroes of Might and Magic III, it became my absolute favorite.. Then i watched Monster Rancher and played the game (Monster Rancher 2) with Phoenix in it.. loved this creature..
I love phoenixes so much. Their powerful, and gracefully beautiful. 2 ideas for next vid, pls do the Fenghuang of China and the Thunderbird of America. As far as I know, the fenghuang represented the empress of the dynasty as the dragon was for the emperor. The thunderbird, lightning is a subelement to fire and they're both givers of life, whereas the phoenix gives life to itself, the thunderbird gives life to others by summoning down rain to feed and nourish the land.
If you dont know then listen that bird you called fenghuang it is the chinies name of phoenix🤣🤣🤣 and yaaa you can say that phoenix represented as empress in four god beasts but also there is another bird who refers as the queen of the dragon is vermillion bird
@@adityaprasadswain6607 I know that one too. The Vermillion Bird is shared in both Chinese and Japanese myth. From what little I know is it has the fire powers but not the healing tears or resurrection. Like what u said also, its part of the Four Symbols/Beast, representing south, summer and fire.
@@sifilore9462 if you dont know then listen some legend says that the phoenix and v bird much similar rather than phoenix healing tears ability but you can say that the vermilion bird is like a fire phoenix and the four god beast are Azure dragon of the east,Vermillion bird of the south ,White tiger of the west and Black tortoise (black warrior) of north and lastly the azure dragon represent the wind the v bird represent the fire the white tiger represent the earth and the black tortoies represent the water
@@sifilore9462 and you dont know that in our indian mythology there ia bird who is very similar to phoenix but the power of that bird beyound immargination that bird is considerd as the mightest of all birds king sky and for his mothers sake he single handedly defet all gods and even that bird is considers as 100 times more powerful than the god of thunder indra who is the king of gods and the persional mount of elder god Bishnu and some legends says that he can lift the whole earth in his one wing that devine bird name is GARUDA
The phoenix is the inspiration for Moltres, Ho-Oh, and Yveltal in Pokemon. Yveltal is a special case since it can resurrect itself from death like in the original myth of the phoenix, but it needs to take the life of another creature to do so.
Fawkes appeared way before Order of the Phoenix. I have my doubts about the healing tears. I love the Phoenix, and not just because I rocked the moniker years ago, or because my avatar is the Phoenix.
For you and for everyone Muslim and Non Muslim read carefully For your kind information Hazrat Sultan Bahu, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, in his book Muhak al-Fuqarah In the hills of Greece, a strange type of bird, the phoenix, has been mentioned. He Rehmat Ullah Taala Aleh has been passed away few centuries ago. He was a wali Allah . His native city was Jhang Pakistan. It's prove that Din Islam is a reality. This bird mentions Allah. And this elder Sultan Bahu, who mentioned this bird centuries ago in his book, he also used to mention Allah Ho, Allah Ho. This is proof of the truth of the religion of Islam۔Keep in mind that in the time when these beloved ones of Allah passed away, there were no means of communication. Subhan Allah
my spirit animal ..i dreamt of one wen i was 5 im 50 now and still remember that dream except mine was blue and it brought Thunder ... it felt so real so see it lighting up the sky ❤

Great movie! 👏Awesome! Totally awesome the story about Phoenix history Greek Mythology in Comics. That was wonderful. Now Phoenix remains of the universal Symbol of Rebirth and the beginning of a new cycle. That was impossible, no wonder name Symbol of Rebirth and the beginning of a new cycle! That was awesome great story about Phoenix!
