New episode finale scene. Jean Grey awakens and saves Cable, Jean turns Mister Sinister into old man. Phoenix resurrected from death, Bastion takes Cable's arm and transforms into sentinel. #marvel #magneto #xmen97
It would be an amazing story in the cartoon if the Phoenix Force with Jean Grey and Goblin Force with Madelyne Prior are involved. Problem though, that would be a multiversal threat of a cosmic scale. Too big for the Earthbound characters.
In comics, Apocalypse transformed Sinister. In X-Men The Animated Series, Sinister transformed himself with the stolen mutant DNA he embedded into his body.
After all the spectacular displays of pyrokinesis by the Phoenix, it was awesome to see Jean use it to literally "burn" all the mutant DNA out of Sinister. Couldn't have happened to a worthier target.
Yeah... isn't he basically a Nimrod, but with a personality? I remember back in the day when Nimrod first appeared in comics and trashed the Xmen, Juggernaut, and Inner Circle all by himself.
Take away all the mutant DNA he used to augment himself and you are left with a vain 200-year old drama queen who peaked in high school unable to look at himself in the mirror without feeling shame.
Just like Claremont always want, that Jean is Phoenix when she reach her maximum level of power. This was great handle on animated series, Jean is alive thanks to Phoenix, so part of Phoenix is in her forever, she doesn't need to merge with the bird again.
@@fishnewt1331 I been watching X-Men movies and cartoons for decades ok. And every time Phoenix gets involved the fun ends. Look at the last X-Men movie with apocalypse. Instead of continuing a great boss battle here comes the Phoenix flame and he is valorized. What fun was that ?
1:51 My roommate and I were laughing so hard after this for like five minutes, we forgot what was going on, especially since I'm pretty sure that's the last we see of Sinister.
That vampire got what he deserved for torturing Morph, for kidnapping and cloning Jean, infecting Cable with a virus and for nearly tearing the Summer family apart.
If bastion isn’t one of the most savagest villains, idk who else is. He literally took cables own arm and beat him wit it (cable is powerful), calculate how many seconds he destroyed a place not even minutes seconds, evolve’s Brody arm then decide to evolve wit his futuristic arm then he proceeds to tell Brody how he’ll take an asteroid from space to earth. Shit is insane
This is my list of most powerful mutants. This list is based on what I believe to be the most powerful omega mutants. This list is undisputed. Some might be surprised to see certain characters on here as opposed to others (no apocalypse) but these characters are the absolute elite, crème de la creme, Apex predators of mutant kind. I don’t care for canonical stats and feats or what’s been retconned. I’m simply emphasising the conceptual and metaphysical aspects of their abilities. Everyone listed on here possesses vast range in raw power, can manipulate time and reality, can manipulate energy down to the molecular or subatomic level, are immortal or can resurrect themselves and others. The list is in descending order from least to most powerful Mutant. Who’s on your list? Enjoy. 20. Meggan Peccanu - Shapeshifter, Elemental, power magic manipulation, reality warping resistance. 19. Hope Summers - psychic energy and undetectability, power amplification, power mimicry, power absorption immunity, power manipulation, power bestowal. 18. Madeline Pryor - demonic augmentation, sorcery, telekinesis, telepathy. 17. Hyperstorm - Supreme power, hyperspace teleportation, telepathy, telekinesis. 16. Iceman - absolute zero inducement, absolute freezing, water manipulation, molecular moisture inversion & conversion. Organic ice form, cellular replacement. 15. Charles Xavier - Omega level telepath, psychokinesis. 14. Storm - Sky manipulation, electromagnetic spectrum manipulation, weather manipulation, atomkinesis, magic potential. 13. Magneto - Electromagnetic spectrum manipulation, gravity manipulation, psychokinesis, portal creation, matter manipulation, matter transmutation, weather manipulation, geokinesis. 12. Matthew Malloy - Molecular telekinesis, telepathy, self resurrection, matter manipulation. 11. Cassandra Nova - Dna manipulation, jumpstart, phasing, regeneration. 10. Nate Grey/Xman - Absolute psionics, possession, psychokinesis, reality warping, temporal manipulation, self- resurrection, reality warping. 1. Marquis of death: Multi-universal reality warping.
@@TheDCbiz Yeah but Jean possesses more raw power I’d say. It’s a tricky one isn’t it. Chaos magick/hex’s vs an omega level telepath and telekinetic. Difficult to determine.
Nice list. Haven't read comics in a while so not familiar with a few of them. But what about Cyclop's brother? I know he's supposed to be pretty high. Also Franklin Richards. I'm not sure if he's considered a 'true' mutant, but he's stupidly powerful. Only Marquis of Death is a match for him... maybe. Just my $0.02. Good list.
@@stephencooper3583 thanks man much appreciated. Nah I don’t Vulcan to be in the top twenty most powerful. Top 25? Sure. As for Franklin I never considered him to be a mutant. The writers are stupid to even label him as a character that stems from the Xmen lore when he is the offspring of Reed Richards and sue storm. Therefore he’s not a mutant. He’s part of the fantastic four umbrella.
loved another ep with the appearance of my favorite omega red finally dark star and the red white and silver robot which I don't know is 0:44 to 00:46 the best part, demolisher dare devil, cable, beast, miss lack black panther dr strange psylock black cat colossos and etc against bastion and its zombie soldier robots, and for those who waited so long for the appearance of the phoenix, look she there, and then there's still apocalypse and the others in the desert vampire rougue, nocturnal nightcrawler, sunspot and magneto, bishop.
Crimson Dynamo, Darkstar, and Omega Red. They were protecting the Russian President similar to how Captain America and Iron Man were protecting the U.S. President.
She should have just killed Sinister, as much troubled as he has caused he deserved it. Letting him go like that gives him the chance to return, and I think he will.
@@YE-dr3zkit really wasn’t a bad movie at all plus the cgi was outstanding but it just wasn’t really comic accurate. I do understand that it’s hard to fit the dark Phoenix saga in one movie though
@@YE-dr3zk i get that but let Phoenix battle off cosmic characters not apocalypse or some non cosmic entity. It's not fun because there is no challenge. Mind you they never unleash storm when she can just instant kill everyone because it wouldn't be fun. Thanks in movies didn't have energy abilities he was basically a smart version of the hulk. So they can take Phoenix out of jean to make storyline interesting.
@nesq4104 Jean is always connected to the Phoenix and she needed to be resurrected anyway, so it did. The only villain that got whooped was Sinister and his punishment wasn't even annihilation so Bastion could shine.
@@YE-dr3zk yes but Phoenix literally removed all that DNA and nerfed him. He might as well be dead. See that too much power. Next she will destroy all the sentinels and the show will be over. Not even a sentinel from the future can fight the Phoenix and that's the problem. This series made the mutants very vulnerable to the sentinels and I love it
