I think the Situation Changed Lot now... Im still Against Dowry... But I think Lots of mens still Expecting only Women Not Dowry... But Womens / Parents Don't See Beyond their Expectation (Its also a Dowry From Women side).

Parents have to educate girl that at present India state they cannot live a life like their parents enjoyed of sitting in home cooking and taking care of kids. They are equally responsible in running the family it is not the husbands or boys parents responsibility in forming running the family for her, Both the parties have to take care. thats how we can bring change. Getting Dowry is a total nonsense thing but it is not the Boys family who have to blamed.
in most cases no, but in some cases they have to beg the girls parents to take care of their daughter. which most family's till date fail. The girls parents are the fault here. Basically in India they want kids to take care of them, that is the sickest thing. since a girl will not take care after marriage they are not bothered.

I am from malaysia...i feel very pity for them...here we dont have such culture...its up to girl family how much they want to give...women sacrifice towards family priceless...i really hope one day this culture will be vanish..
