A few years ago my mom cussed out a phone scammer, hung up hard on him, a few days later he called back explaining how she really hurt his feelings. Cussed him out again, laughed while doing it and threatened to call police if he contacted us again.
One of my favorite things is to take phone scam calls, play along for as long as I can, then start making up nonsensical stuff or prattling on about contrails or whatever. They get pissed because now YOU'RE wasting THEIR time.
Korey and the gang are nice. I don't pick up the phone for anyone. If I see a number I don't recognize I'm not picking up. I even tell business that if you need to call me and you don't have your business in the number where it can be indentified I'm not picking up. Any odd text i get they get sent to the spam. You will be blocked.
Y'all should call in with Kristian Harloff and ask him how he deals with the scam calls, when he gets them while recording podcasts early in the day lmfao
The text scam is a fairly common one. I had something similar happen to me a couple years ago. They have a script they use that is identical to everyone they contact.
I got a call at 6:45 this morning. I begrudgingly answered. Once they started talking, I just yelled in the phone. I hope it hurt and I hope they call back.
Man, someone needs to let them know about the scambaiters here on RU-vid like Kitboga. Some of the scammers he call will make their day with either how stupid or how easily irritated and pissed off they can get.
My phone coverage was recently suspended, and I've been bragging my feet getting my phone cut back on because I'm enjoying the no scam calls and texts too much! Can I get a secret landline? 😂😂😂
It's a numbers game for scammers. There will always be people who will actually fall for their scams, and they'll spend all day or week going through phone numbers until they find them.
Anyone who has Spanish surnames or somehow they found out you're bilingual are getting double the calls. Long as you answer in English or lie that you do not speak Spanish, they give up easily
There was a series of videos I was watching a month or two ago or scammers getting heated and cussing out the person who they trjed to scam for wasting their time.
I used to get texts saying my debit card was locked and to call that number from the text to unlock it. I almost fell for it but I called the number on the back of my card and nothing was wrong. I turned that scammer's number in tho.
Korey cares more about Marvel movies success, than his own wife, so why would you expect him to care about viewers or them getting scammed online + EVERYONE knows the show crumbed the second Korey admitted he likes dudes too = MIA started looking for a lawyer the next day, while everyone else started looking for a better review channel, where they don’t talk about themselves, more than they talk about the movies, while falling so far down the rabbit hole, that Korey’s lost touch with reality, working with scam company’s, while mostly only talking about himself, instead of reviewing shows/movies
