Except talking on the phone is not exactly avoinding people. And for me it's far worse than being personally in the shop (or anywhere else). I hate making calls and receiving calls I don't expect. 😅😅😅 But I admit it looks so special, different, to shop on the phone. I'm not that young but I'm not aware if it was really a thing in my country before the internet. We just went in stores I think.

I’m an escapist by nature obsessed with vintage things, so this is right up my alley. Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like a kid who’s been brought along to work today bc the governess is sick, and I get to listen to my maman sell pretty things while it rains in Paris all day. @@katesay1559 for me it really depends on the asmr I think, and it also helps that tingles aren't super heavy for me unless I'm focused on the stimuli/triggers. When I have asmr, esp roleplays, just chillin in the background, the amount of work I get done is truly astonishing. Pretty sure it's the only way I got through writing papers in college 🤣

For the past two months I've played this virtually every single night in order to fall asleep. I dont know what I'd do without it. As a fanatic of the old 80s Merchant/Ivory films, and wishing Hollywood could go back to making quality entertainment like we had back then, I watched this on repeat most of the night. My husband was traveling overnight for work, and as I dislike travel and airplanes, I fret each time a loved one is aboard one. So this video was an enormous help to soothe my worry and help me rest a little before I got word that he was safely on the ground. If there was an ASMR Oscar, you should surely win. Now. My days have been unusually stressful lately. Despite exhaustion I can’t sleep because I can’t relax or feel comfortable. Now I can visit a parallel world on a different slower time stream. If a letter is received a reply can be handwritten and posted when next visiting the nearest village. None of the devices or things in her cottage beep at her or notify her of anything. Her soft accent is what does it for me. I am happily mesmerized and relaxed. I love all the clocks and globes and 19th Century scholastic stuff. ❤Thanks
