Just ordered this whole curriculum because of this video! Thanks for sharing! I think this will really help fill in some gaps in our homeschooling routine.
This will depend on your little. When we first began Foundations A, we could do a lesson a day. Towards the end we started breaking each lesson into two. It also depends on the rest of the schooling load you'll have with your child. I was personally against having her do any lesson for any subject that would have taken more than 20 minutes at a time sitting down when she was in kindergarten. So that's when I started breaking the lessons up :)
so we’re just starting kindergarten and haven’t done a handwriting curriculum YET we’ve done explode the code so my son is starting to be able to write print but not strongly. I want to use LOE for reading and wondering if you think having them start at cursive would be too confusing if they JUST barely learned the print letters?😅 I would like to but I don’t want to confused him so early
I loved the idea of learning cursive right off the bat, but honestly, I wish I would have started with print from the beginning. Almost all of the curriculum that kinder and first will be learning through will be asking them to respond, or copy, etc. and it will be in print. It was confusing for my cursive writer to answer in print when she hadn't learned it yet. I recommend print and will be ordering the print options when my third ages into schooling :) I really have enjoyed Dash Into Learning's handwriting curriculum for my daughter's print journey!
