I get the vibe of the movie "The Outsiders" and all the characters in one. ESPECIALLY "Pony Boy" played by Ralph Machio and "Dally" played by Matt Dylan in the 1980's film..

These shots are lethal! 🔥🔥🔥💀 We all know that V is a fine man, but these are dangerous! Everyone of them is absolutely breathtaking. My favorite is the flower in the pants one. I'm not even sure why (others seem disinclined to pick this one); it just gets to me. It's more of a visceral reaction rather than an artistic one. 💜💪🏻💜

All of these photos scream sex to me. Everyone of them have a come hither, come get me vibe. I have a lot of thoughts and I could break them down one by one, but I think I have said enough. Absolutely love these!

I find it interesting that a lot of the comments with movie references are from a western gaze. It’s understandable as we relate things to what we know. I also to begin with, got James Dean vibes etc… But it’s worth remembering Tae is a huge huge fan of Hong Kong 80’s/90’s cinema. When he shared the images on his Insta he ended the reel with a video of him dancing to Hong Kong actor and LGBTQ icon Leslie Cheung in the movie ‘Days of being Wild’. He has shared his love of Leslie Cheung and his movies many times before. That dance move is one he has done repeatedly many times at concerts etc… incidentally the photo in front of the mirror in this photoshoot is very reminiscent of a very famous photo of Leslie Cheung shaving in front of a mirror. My personal thought is he was paying homage to him as Tae is a big fan and Leslie Cheung is a huge idol to Tae… (Tae was involved in the creative process of the shoot) he has recommended the OST from his LGBTQ movie ‘Happy Together’ and played two of the songs from it back to back in his lives too. Not only that his slicked hairstyle in the sequins outfit is also similar to Leslie’s and the location of the motel and some of the photos etc also personally remind me of the movie ‘Happy Together’. My favourite photos: One is the one you chose too but the face-on version of it. In it he gives me two vibes, a cross between Trinity from the Matrix movies and the famous Audrey Hepburn photo with her in Sunglasses. Incidentally Tae mentioned in earlier interviews (I forget which ones) of studying Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe and studying their poses etc. He posted more shots in Celine casual wear and in that reel he included a portrait of Marilyn Monroe. My ultimate favourite photo though is his v-cut version of him wearing the maxi celine skirt and the fluffy American flag hoody, with his legs up on the sofa and the nose ring. There is such a sensual sassy energy in that one that is just divine. I recommend his Elle Emoji interview… there are behind the scenes cuts of his photoshoot interspersed in there that really shows off Tae’s modelling charms and his innate understanding and ability to pose and how to carry-himself that would be interesting to see from a photographer’s point of view. Thanks for sharing this, was really enjoyable. 💜 p.s as others have mentioned Tae is now a Celine Global Ambassador. Officially a Celineboy… one of only two in the world.

My favorite out of these photos is the one cover, the first one with the fringed jean jacket, but I also liked the ones you didn’t show of him in and on the bathtub and on the bed with the phone in his hand.

Both, Taehyung and Jungkook are unbelievable popular. JK proved his worth at FIFA and now with Calvin Klein. Tae did the same with Celine and Ji Jinny's Kitchen . For the right company who will support their solo singing career they can make billions. Hybe/BigHit seem to be dissinterested in supporting them. Hybe let JK be mostly idle for a whole year. "What a waste", wrote a Japanese magazine sold out only because they put his picture on its front page. But there is a hope, the renewal of contracts between BTS members and Hybe is coming soon. It looks like it is time for Taekook to change agency. And maybe it will happen even sooner if an afluent company decides not to wait and will be willing to pay the penalty for braking contract. It might be expensive, but worth it. Like this the company will make sure they'll get these extraordinary profit makers.
