omg, the flash in the snow ARE YOU KIDDING??? Those shots are so fire. I love the broll and white pillar boxing, so sick. This is such a rad edit. Thanks for sharing
Fine video and pictures. I especially like the lantern in the park and the pedestrian in front of the italian restaurant. The choice of background music is really good, too. (Although I prefer the Arttie Shaw version 😉)
Amazing work!! No words 😶 just an amazing feeling and mood created with so little. Proves you don’t need lot of gear but just an idea and willingness to go for it
Thankfully I already knew you still got the photos, because when I saw you drop the film, my heart sinked a bit This was such a cool idea, I haven't seen it done before on a film camera, but it was so so cool. I do some POV photography videos myself, but this was taken to the next level. Also, the music you chose gave the video such a cozy vibe, like an old Christmas movie. You have a new subscriber!
I love New York in the winter. These shots are gorgeous! Looking like an actual winter, unlike the 76 degrees its been in here in LA this week! Great work and stay safe!
Do you mind sharing the filters/effects you used for the videos shot on your iPhone? Also big fan, love your work. Never thought to use Cinestill in the snow with flash. Going to have to try
It really hasn't snowed much here this year and living in a small town in the middle of nowhere, there's really nothing to shoot. I've been wanting so badly to shoot snow this year and this video is perfect. As much as I love point and shoots, my first thought was "really? Ya gonna waste cinestill on a point and shoot?" But by the 3rd or 4th shot, I was like "dang. Good choice!" I love the blinding flash against falling snow look but I also love that the stylus exposed for the background very well in addition. Overall, great video!
Trust me, I know the feeling of being at a small town in the middle of nowhere... New York City is the perfect place to be for street photography, but that’s not to say that you can’t still create something special just at where you are. There’s a video done by a fellow film photographer/youtuber Bryan Birks, he talked about finding the beauty in everyday mundaneness. Hope that will inspire you to shoot more in your town. Loading expensive film in p+s is something I learned from my friend, JC, who is also a part of this channel. He even loads slides into his stylus and xa, and the results are MIND-BLOWING!
@@SISSI_LU I will have to check out that video! thanks. It really makes sense if you think about it. Also being in the early years of my film journey, I don't always get the most out of professional stocks where as point and shoots for the most part, get it all right for you. 100% trying that.
