You all have seen my homemade floating blind (hide) before, so this in nothing new for you. Each time I use it, I am more and more convinced that this is the best way to photograph waterfowl and shorebirds. In this video, I spend some time tracking down another species of bird that I've never photographed before. After watching it for a couple of days, I take out the ol' floating blind and setup in the early hours of the morning!
I wasn't only able to photograph the bird I was after, but a whole bunch of other birds and species as well. I love using the floating blind because I stay pretty well camouflaged and I feel it's a very ethical way (if done correctly) to photograph these beautiful animals.
I hope you all are staying safe out there in your adventures. Thanks for following along, we'll see you all next week!
