Next time if both you and Gavin hauled in three light stands, radio triggers, and flash units each you'd really be onto something. Seriously that was an amazing place at my age i am not sure I would try the strap ladder.

Love the weathered side of that first giant tree, visible at about 1:00 min mark.... the swoosh lines are gorgeous... I love pattern shots... awesome cave images

I always love how much shadow detail is actually in a properly exposed RAW file. The cavern shots were really nice and I loved the driftwood detail images. Well, driftwood is really a misnomer in scale description.

Great use of the insets to show your areas of interest. My wife loves this sort of detail/texture photography, while I tend to notice the wider scenes. Great video. You should have brought that ladder featured in an earlier video.
I wanted to see Gavin try and climb back up that rope after the photos. Great shots, Adam. I hope the old-growth areas can stay protected so you can continue showing off its beauty to us.

What an amazing place. It’s as if those tree trunks were airlifted to the beach and placed in a row just to be photographed. And that cavern looks pretty damn cool. Love the pace of your videos, Adam.
I love the way as those trees grow, rocks get stuck in the roots and they take the rocks with them when they float out to sea and wash up on the beaches.
Driftwood roots are great to photograph. So many amazing patterns. I sometimes bring a Bernzomatic hand torch with me too enhance and deepen some of the patterns. Great video Adam!
Hey Adam, 1 more great vid, BUT PLEASE take that last waterfall shot at 14:16 and turn it into a B&W I think it will knock your tea cup out of your hands! I see it as a great B&W shot!!! TRUST ME....
I love working on a project, I just finished on one and although I never made a video about it, it's still cool to show it . By the way the pictures of the tree trunks were magnificent.
People would ask, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" My answer was always, "A photographer for National Geographic magazine". My parents, aunts & uncles, adult friends would always tell me, "Give up on that dream, son. So many people want that job, you'll never achieve that". My life is in its twilight now. They talked me out of even trying.
Wow! What a location. Adam, you are much younger and fitter than I. When I was a young man, I wouldn't hesitate to climb down that rope ladder. But after a few serious injuries due to making rash judgments, I've restricted my photography to more accessible locations.
Beautiful images and video. Particularly interesting to see how you processed the cave images, I've always struggled with the balance between inside and outside the cave. Learned something today.

We have a beach over here on the South east coast in Jekyll Island GA. Called Drift Wood Beach. It is very pretty. You should come Check it out some day, if you haven't already.
Adam. Have you been to the Carmanah giant spruce ? Its a bit of a trek from the car, but well worth it. Set along a gorgeous stretch of Carmanah creek, just a little downstream from the canyon. The canyon itself is a bit special too. Could be another great adventure for you and your entourage

Adam, you should get a laser pointer. You almost ruined your scene when you walked into it. A laser pointer would come in handy. I recommend the green ones as they are the brightest.

in the fallen trunk at the beginning, there is a face in the hole. you can see something that looks like eyes and a nose. i guess this would be worth a shot?
