Thank you for showing how its done in real life - with some stuff not working at their best and how to cope with it in order to do our work!

what is this thing that you have made? what will it be used for?

the guy that laughed in the background at 00:48 made me giggle, thanks for the video though

We removed the photo-resist so the part of the copper that wasn't exposed to UV can be etched away.

how does the material of mask effects the lithography?for example using plastic or glass

Hi Robin, I usualy warm up the UV-bulbs a few minutes, to become the bulbs warm.

@@robinirazoqui6769 consistent light output. Phosphors don't give peak brightness until the tubes have been on for a few minutes

Is there a reason why the light is yellow?

Hi, Robin, thank you for making this video, it is really useful, I just have a question, why you need to use the rope to inclose the mask?
@nickpeccarelli8384
@nickpeccarelli8384 9 лет назад
+Sasha Wang Hi Sasha, we used the rope to elevate the hole of the vacuum. Without the rope the vacuum creates suction only in the tube, but when it is elevated by the rope suction is created throughout the entire UV chamber.

So what exactly did you make? Was this a “chip” or something?

I just use a modified $20 laminator, far less photo resist film, no vaccuum bed just an exposure frame, cheap UV LED box and an etching tank with an aquarium heater and air pump for agitation o.0 No wonder Universities have to charge so much lol

Thank you. So many process steps and chemicals. Acetone is unpleasant stuff..all those solvsnts are toxic.

did you know there are starving kids in china that cant afford photo resist? nor could they eat all of that photo resist you wasted!!! Idk where im going with this anymore. Also TIL: university of Oklahoma doesnt believe in collimation. The hotter it is, the quicker it goes... which is important because? oh yeah...undercut... can i have a degree? lol

everything is you buy Mask, cit, and all the process done by Machines Lithography.. What you did exactly only washing the plates by chemical...and that's your Research...
@ПрикладнаЕкономіка
It was video about photolithography process, not about his research))))))
