Learning lumion has really been a breath of fresh air. It's so user friendly yet highly effective that it's become fun to learn. Before this was grind after grind after grind of learning super not user friendly softwares, makes you think why other programs can't be designed to be easier to use?
Thanks a lot from a guy who spends multiple hours a week tinkering with Lumion settings sliders. One thing I notice about Lumion is that the native settings tend to be oversaturated compared to the "fashionable" look for photorealistic renderings nowadays. It can be a challenge to get things "toned down" to where they look more contemporary. One thing I have done is to take the final render and then use the "match colors" function in photoshop to "siphon off" the color scheme of a render that I like. This is one of the first chances I've had to watch someone work through and explain some of the more mysterious sliders, and I appreciate your efforts. I think that it would be a good idea to have a "Stacks Exchange" on a website where people can download and exchange custom Lumion effects stacks. I have looked for this and there doesn't seem to be such a place on the internet.
I really like this idea - it's so easy to save the effect styles, it seems silly that these aren't being shared - seems like a really good idea for something Lumion could include in a future release
Thank you so much for the video it helped me out so much!! This is the only vid on youtube where the pre-render realistic settings are described in detail keep up the good work :)
I am delighted with my results, I had to make some changes and add the sun by geo location, but it worked and I wanted to thank for the video. One more fan and subscribed to the channel.
Thankyou for actually explaining tNice tutorialngs. Other videos that I watched started talking about how to make soft and didn't ntion anytNice tutorialng
@@TheRenderingEssentials Okay thank Justin. And again , whenever I use Lumion to render work for my clients they always complain of it not being realistic. Does this mean lumiom and twimmotion does meet the rendering requirements, or am the one not using it well?. or is there any other thing to do after rendering image from this programs? Thanks
You commented on the video about turning off layers, so you've obviously seen that already. Generally - less geometry = faster. Less reflection planes in settings = faster.
Hello there. I've got the trial version for testing and after using any scene for around 15 minutes It crash and freeze the computer. Therefore, I must restart it. The benchmark is actually 100% with 24gb RAM and two gtx 1080 ti 11gb. Any idea of why?
Can we apply same settings for a dark room..??(** Room with 1 small window**) Will the setting change according to the Sun brightness coming from outside..?? Please Help me out !!
Can you please share your best setting you achieved for exterior renders? I mean like these notes you left for this interior, we need some notes for exterior... thank you!
Great vid, but if it's possible for you, please made a video about interior rendering tutorial in small and closed room (no sunlight). Mostly of the problem is when setting up the camera view and realistic lighting from artifical light.
At some point - generally you don't do a lot of renderings of small and closed rooms with no sunlight - sounds like a combination of an emitter material and some point lights to me...
Hmmm...you know, I've heard this from a lot of people, but I guess I've just never really seen it - I generally find these renders to be significantly better than what most people are able to produce in other programs, but I suppose some of it is just a personal preference thing. Either way, thanks for the comment!
This so amazing. I'm short of worrds. I don't know if you can help me on how to solve a twinmotion problem. I can't export an image or video. The program closs when ever I try exporting. Saying Application Twinmotion-Win has been blocked from accessing Graphics software. If you can help me I will be very Grateful.
Thanks a lot ! Lumion is great, I try to use it with SketchUp, is it possible to find another components, supplies, directly from Lumion? Merci beaucoup Et Bonne continuation !
These scenes are okay but when we design a model and import it in lumion 8 i do renders but those things don't look photo realistic but look like cartoon xD.. Have been watching your channel sketchup essentials for a long time 😉💯, So is that the thing I'm not applying materials properly?
Follow your settings my image came way to bright ...when rendered even though it looked just as you illustrated inPhoto mode had to adjust the exposure
Every scene is different - these presets can act as a starting point, but you'll have to custom adjust to each image based on the elements to get the result you'd like, so you did the right thing :)
