As of 2/10/21, Photoroom Android users are unable to batch edit or export directly to Poshmark. Although I did have a note regarding the inability to batch edit on Android in the video, I did not know at the time of recording that Android users are unable to export directly to Poshmark. I have been told Android users will be able to do these things in March! I apologize for any confusion. Please let me know in the comments if you have any further questions!
Hi. I have an android and I downloaded the app and paid for the pro version and it does edit multiple pictures at a time now. I love it! Thank you so much for telling us about this app!!!!
I have a difficult time following videos like this because when you go from place to place to place, I'm often still looking at the area of what you were doing last and totally miss it. It's not a big deal if you're only clicking on one or two things but in an video like this where you go to many different places on the app, I have to rewatch and rewatch AND even then, I don't always know where you're hitting. I've seen other videos where they point an arrow to show where on the phone they are talking about. Some just stop and actually point to the area on the phone before proceeding. For those already familiar with an app, it's not much of a problem but for newbies, there's a time learning curve that could be completely eliminated if you'd take the few extra seconds to first show where to click. Appreciate it.
I've been using the Snapseed app you showed us. I heard people talking about this app. I will be going to subscribe. The subscription fee is less for android.
Hi again, Donna! I just learned that the subscription fee for android is less because Android still doesn't have the batch editing and export to Poshmark capabilities yet. Once they do get the same features, the price is supposed to go up. I hope that helps!
Hi Becky. I do so appreciate this video. I’m a retired elementary teacher-10 years now. Technology was just hitting its stride as I was retiring, so it takes me more time to catch on to the newest stuff. I can’t activate my schema! I’ve been playing around with PhotoRoom, but there is so much I didn’t know how to figure out. This REALLY helped, and I thank you! PS... I’m the viewer who went to SIU-Carbondale! Have a good week!
Great tutorial, thanks! I'm a part-time reseller too, and time = money. You've convinced me to try PR. I'm looking forward to seeing your other tips too,
Thank you! This video is perfectly timed..i was trying another app last sunday, i to draw the contour of the garment then another countour with a diffrent color for the background..it was so frustrating... will try this app👍
Fabulous video. Very helpful. Thank you. Could you also do a video on how to edit picture on white background if it doesn’t turn out right? I have some shoe pictures taken on top of the box, which photo room erases some of the ankle strap, or leaves part of the box. How can I fix this? Thank you, Becky!
Great tip! Was just wondering recently how to make my photos even more professional looking and streamline to the white crisp backdrop. Thank you so much for this video. (:
Hello I like your video. I do have a question. What about active listings. Is there an easy way to use Photo Room on those listings? I have over 250 listing i would like to use Photo Room on this items. Or is this app only for new listings. Thank you
Love your video. What do you do if you already have a listing completed but want to go back and add the white background? I have the pro version and was able to put in a white background but then I had to redo the entire listing and then list it again. I think there is way to do the white background without having to rewrite the whole listing again. I am new at this so I probably have myself confused about the procesess.
You can save the edited photo from Photo Room app to your phone then go on Poshmark app and select the existing listing to edit and replace / add the new version of the photo(s) on the listing :)
It’s a bit more difficult to work, and it’s a beta version. For example: When I first used it, I made my photo, then looked to save it. Hard to believe there was no save, no drop downs, etc, and the “ ask questions section” seems to be geared for mobile. I found by accident that as soon as you upload a photo and add a backdrop, the pic auto saves. Who knew. But still, once I got the hang of what I needed, it works very well for our use. I l
@@nancydrew50 I noticed that when I was on the page that there was a big google sign on pop-up box that I couldn't get rid of that was partially blocking the photo area. So you have to create an account to use it?
Great content! Maybe I missed it, but can PhotoRoom re-size photos into square format? I use an app to resize, then use PhotoRoom (not Pro version, yet) to modify background. Thank you 😊
I’m not 100% sure, but I believe photo room can be used to resize pictures as well. However, like I said, I haven’t tried this myself. They have a really helpful support system if you want to try reaching out to them!
I just got the FREE trial and it will charge me for PRO in a week. I don't see the icon to select multiple photos. Will this not show up until I pay for the PRO version? After my free trial ends? I really want to try this feature!
@@newyearsmom1 Yeah. I’m sorry that that feature is not available for android users yeah! It is definitely one of the best things about the app. However, it is great news that they are actively working on it and hope to roll it out in the next month or so!
I just reached out to them today and was told that the batch edit feature for android will be available in March. I am thinking that the price may go up then, but I could be wrong.
I do my listings through list perfectly and then batch them out to the platform. So my question is is there a way to send them from photo room to list perfectly?
I will def be looking into photoroom, and good to know they had been working on the android version. To me as a buyer when I see unfinished photos with poor lighting and miscellaneous things I just think I can make a lower offer 😬 which may explain some of my sales 🤔 😅
Can you tell me -- Is it worth all of the trouble you go through with the setting up and all of the photos you need to take and going to the Post Office on a daily basis -- to sell clothes on PoshMark? I've never sold on PoshMark or Ebay or anywhere else and I'm trying to make a decision based on "Is it really worth all of the trouble"? Going to the Post Office every day on your lunch hour for one item that's sold here and there, is it really worth it? It would be great if you actually lived and worked right next door to the Post Office. The one single thing that really has me on the fence -- is the fact that PoshMark and the buyers want you to put that item in the mail the day they purchase it. And, I see that a lot of successful PoshMark sellers do that. HOW does one work a full-time job (40 hrs/wk) and run to the Post Office on a daily basis? Going to the Post Office EVERY DAY??? That's just insanity for me to even picture it in my head! How does one do it?
I paid for the pro version. I don't have access to the batch edit, brighten or uploading to Postmark. Are those features not available on Android? I tried but i couldn't find a help section.
Hey, Lorinda! I pinned a comment to the top of the comments section, but android users currently pay less for the pro version than apple users because at this moment, batch editing and exporting to Poshmark is not available. They said it should be available in March, which is great, and at that time, I believe the price will go up to match the apple price. I did mention in the video that batch editing wasn’t available on android yet, but I didn’t know about the Poshmark export feature not being available either until after I filmed this. I hope that helps!
@@beckyparkco Thank you so much for the clarification! I think in my excitement I completely missed what you mentioning that it wasn't available on Android. I drove myself crazy last night trying to figure out why I couldn't get it to select multiple photos. I wish I just went back and watched your video a second time lol. I appreciate you getting back to me so quickly! You are amazing! Stay safe :)
I have been using PhotoRoom for a few months now and I have an IPhone and I had no idea that I could batch edit and then upload the pictures straight to Poshmark 🤦🏼♀️ and I have always had the Pro version. Thank you so much for making this video! It will save me so much time!
I was using pictapgo because of your initial tutorial. But this one has taken the cake! I am totally going to download this tomorrow morning and begin to work with it because time is money and every little minute counts!
Update. Those features are not available to Android users right now but will be by the end of March. They are working hard on it since it is one of their most requested features.
Thanks for the update! I’m glad they got back to you so quickly on this! I know apps are traditionally much harder to develop for android than iPhone, but I’m glad they’re making this a priority!
I wondered why my upgraded subscription didnt include those fab features!. Love photoroom but dont appreciate paying the same price when I'm getting less features, especially since I searched their documents and didnt find.this mentioned.
Hi! I believe you shouldn't be paying the same price as Apple users. I would double check just to make sure :) I just learned that Photoroom's year long subscription for Android users is less than Apple's because they don't have the batch editing and export to Poshmark functions yet.
I want to believe, I’ve purchased this but it’s not that easy or seamless. I’m a analyst. I’ve had to watch this three times, watched Amber and what the heck? Your screen shots are helpful But on my XR they don’t even match up. I don’t want to quit this app as time is valuable but after three tries maybe you have a better edge? Definitely not as easy trying to watch, it’s not what I’m seeing
I am having the same difficulty but for me it's because I'm usually watching one area when she (and many others on I-Tune videos) click on another area, and by the time I look for it, they're already two -three steps ahead. I have to go back again and again and it's a waste of time for sure. I just suggested that she either slow down a few seconds when moving to another area and either point with her finger or have an arrow pointing to it and some of the easier training videos use. I also find that PhotoRoom is not user friendly at ALL aside from the basics. For instance, I just tried to create several of my own templates which worked great BUT could not figure out where to save them so I could use again. I need to create several templates with some textures and shadows for some unusual items I sell. When I went into batching, I could not find the templates at all. More frustrating is the lack of ability to contact anyone immediately. I just put in a question but some things are just SO difficult to explain via email and then you get a response that's nothing to do with your questions and it's back and forth. I definitely will be sticking with this and will email several times a day if necessary as I suspect that once I get this down, it will be a very important tool. Wishing you lots of luck too!
I purchased the pro version through your link, and I don't have the the multiple pictures icon. I also don't have a Poshmark button with the upload. I would appreciate it if would you find out if the batch editing and Poshmark button is available for android users or is it only good for iphone? Those were the features I was really after not just the watermark. If they aren't available to Android users, perhaps you could provide a caveat so that other android users don't waste their money.
Thank you for your feedback! I did actually mention in the video that the batch editing function is not yet available for android, but it looks like it will be in a month or two! They are working on that. Regarding the export to Poshmark function, I will find out and let you know.
