Thank you for making this to the point and easy. Also, THANK YOU for describing the different tools and what they do. This has been so helpful and I don't always have time to sit around and hear someone yammer on for 20 minutes on how to do a 10-minute task. Subscribed!
I've used old Versions of Photoshop there are many ways to remove a background, but this version makes a lot faster and has more control unlike the AI Background Removal
Brilliant I’ve been struggling on PS of late especially with the refine hair feature giving below average results & it seems you prefer the old method so switching back to that..Thanks for a great tutorial
Really happy to hear this! :) I always try to make the videos as simple as possible and for all users so I appreciate the honest feedback and nice comment :D Also yes, the tone of voice is important for a tutorial to be easy to follow. It's how I'd like it when I'm learning something new
Thank you for this concise yet comprehensive tutorial! Can't believe I've been making my life so hard by using lasso tool & quick selection tool all the while omg
Hi ! you shot really a good and precise video. Can you please help with the issue I am facing in adobe photoshop 2022 ? Actually, the object selection tool is not detecting the image and giving an error. How can I resolve this? TIA.
This works awesomely...except I'm trying to take out a whole team from the background, this only selects one player. Is it possible to do what I want and take out the whole team? Thanks
You can set the mode to add and click on all your players or right click on your layer and "select all objects" which is another new feature that selects all at once
In that situation it's difficult to separate them I totally get you. You could try threshold adjustment in the adjustments to see which is brighter the hair or the background and select the background with the quick selection tool or if you go to select at the top and try colour range. Then sample the background and see if that selects the background. Unfortunately at this moment in time there isn't many quick fixes so you could try adjusting the image with the adjustments and play around with the brightness and contrast
Awesome video! I watched 2 or 3 similar tutorials before this and couldn't get it at all. Yours was perfect and I got it on the first attempt, thank you!
When I Press ,,Select And Mask'' I don't see a Property Panel showing up and the regular property panel doesn't have the same features like: Radius , Global Refinements e.t.c. So what's the solution here???
@@VerticDesigns I already managed to fix this problem , It probably had to do with ,,Graphic detector not detected'' issue! Thank You for your reply. Your content is great and I am a new subscriber to your channel!
Nice tutorial, but also a nice image. Where I struggle is when I work with let’s say a person in a black sweater photographed against a black background. I’ve got a choir in black tops and a very dark background. I’m trying to produce a transparent background, but really struggling.
In that case the pen tool will be better because this feature is great but it gets confused when there's very similar colours. I've got 2 videos on the pen tool on my channel if you want to try it out
I have a question I hope someone can help me with please. Let's say I have an image that that is 680 by 544 pixels and I want to increase the image keeping that same proportion. Is there some type of calculator for this? I found an image with those dimensions and I want to increase it but I want to keep that same proportion have no idea how to do this.
You can press CTRL + ALT + I then when the window pops up set your preferred size and it will automatically match it with with Height and Width. To unlock the aspect ratio just left click on the chain and add your own custom size. Also a great thing to do is to also set the sample mode to "Preserve Details 2.0" that will maintain the quality. If you need more help there's a video on my channel called how to make images larger
@@VerticDesigns Hi, I know how to use that dialog box but the problem is I don't know what numbers to enter. For example, the original numbers are 680 pixels wide by 544 pixels high, how can I increase those numbers in increments and keep those proportions that I started out with. If I increase by 1000 pixels, will the new size be 1680 x 1544 pixels, I'm not sure if that's how it works when increasing images in pixels, yes it's accurate mathematically but is it accurate in Photography? Hope this makes sense.
Teacher: Loved all your videos. I’ve a question. Can you help me please? How can I draw a perfect rectangle, like you do? Thanks in advance for your answer
Depending on the money you want to spend, one of the following series. 1. Eizo ColorEdge or NEC MultiSync 2. Dell UltraSharp or BenQ PhotoVue or ViewSonic VP
If you can get it then I'd recommend my current one that is BenQ PD2700U it's a 4k IPS with HDR and it's 10 bit or any other monitor that is atleast an IPS screen either 24 or 27 inch, 1080p or above and 60hz refresh rate
I just updated my PS to Photoshop 2022, version 23.3.1, and these options are not what I'm seeing. Is there some difference between Photoshop 2022 and Photoshop CC 2022? I have the CC suite but I'm not seeing the "CC" on the header. Any advice?
I'll be honest with you I've not heard of Photoshop CC 2022 Suite. I pay for mine monthly so I get all the dates automatically. Have you got Photoshop in the Creative Cloud app?
I have a picture that I can’t remove background on no matter how I try. Seems like the “person” and background ARE the background. Is this possible to fix? Edit: NVM Im an idiot 😂. Thank you man.
Ah right my bad normally I do but I guess for this video I was more focused on explaining everything so I'll make sure to work on that for next time thanks for letting me know
it is very clear. Thank you. Even though the colorful background was removed, it still has white background which I can't place it in InDesign. Any solutions?
Thanks for so detailed video. Can you please tell me how do I select some areas that the object tool missed? You showed how to subtract areas but how to add it?
you just simply re-select those areas with the object selection tool but make sure the second mode is selected otherwise it will create a new selection. Normal Left Click and Select = ADD and ALT + Left Click = SUBTRACT
