I knew for a while I'm going to master 3D, Photoshop, AE etc, but this video made me actually fall in love with one subject, composition. With all the scientific approach to quality making you made me find my dormant passion I thought I lost for digital designing years ago. This stuff is gold, thank you man.
I thought I was getting pretty good grip on photoshop. My skill isn't amazing or anything but I can create something intresting. Then I found your recreation thing and I realized how bad I am. Gees man.. Your work is just outstanding.
I had always struggled with color grading. This trick of doing it via curves has been life changing. May you get all the success in this world and hereafter.
You did it again. The more I see from You, the more I get impressed over Photoshop, how could they ever even think all those features. Time spent on your channel is well spent!
I'VE been using Photoshop now for about 5 years. One of my favorite parts of Photoshop is compositing an image. I've been using photoshop long enough now that the video makes sense. If I had watched this video 3 years ago, it would not have been as understandable as it was when i watched today. I will have to watch several times to get the full impact...
I had a subscription on skillshare to learn compositing but you beated all the videos i watch with a free video so much better so thanks you to propose your skills for free on RU-vid
I'm blown away, this was the best video of it's kind! I clicked with just a vague idea of what composting was but this cleared all my questions. Very well explained, those 40 minutes flew by. Now I'm excited to experiment with this technique, it looks really fun
wow this is by far the best tutorial i have watched so far on image compositing in Photoshop thank you so much for this effort. and the blending you did on the historical painting is wonderful to me its and impossibility made possible.
You do not have to mention it Jesus! I did also some "maths" conerning your work flow for the paint recreation, as you mention 1500 layers and a working time of 8 hours (not sure if continoysly or in different days, having breaks..etc) which means in average 3 layers/min..which is quite a performance! 🙏❤ Amazing work, so it is the tutorial! ❤
Wow. I’ve been using photoshop professionally for about 10 years but it was never geared towards compositing but this was so simple and very inspiring. I think I’ll give your course a try.
I've been a subscriber for some time, and I want to thank you for your great lessons. I've learned a lot from your tutorials. Your efforts are very much appreciated.
subscribed after watching your video on blending images while compositing....excellent job with great examples to explain a point. I can see I have been doing a lot of things the hard way. Thanks.
Thx for the hint with the curves adjustment layer. I have never ever used the "auto" commmand . But it looks like something that can safe me a lot of time.
Amazing tutorial. Using the perspective grid, how do you know how to size your subject? She seems a little tall. How did you decide on that size for her?
I just had to thank you for the curves technique for color matching. I knew about the technique for white balancing... but never thought about that you could take samples from a diffrent layer then it applies to. Top. On the other side the Median Stacking mode trick I knew for years but never manged to shoot something where it really worked. And not for a lack of trying. From my expirence that only works if it is slightly crowded. If their are enough ppl running through that a certain spot is occupied (by diffrent ppl) for nearly half the shots (or more) it can make it even worth. Mostly got better results by loading the images into layers and manually masking.
Thank you Sir for starting this channel. I found this channel just today while surfing through. You are doing a great thing teaching Photoshop this helps beginners. Thanks
Well, thank you so much for sharing this amazing video with us. There are a lot of great positives for you here and they are all well deserved. You are without question one of the best on here. I have learned so much from you about using photoshop as a real tool and not just a quick fix-up. I have no idea how 66 people could even consider a thumbs down!
I devoured this presentation! Really well done! Concise and to the point with added understanding as to why you did it. Thanks for sharing Jesus I'm ordering the premium tutorial .
Awesome video! I was wondering how you have your layers have unique colors like the same color for each layer for all in a particular group? Like you have purple and orange in the video. Thanks!
Thank you, Paul! It depends on your experience, the that you focus on (graphic artists, retoucher, etc.) and where in the world you are. So it is a difficult question to answer. I would look at a specific job that you want, then look online for averages in your area.
Very nice tutorial with great information. The model looks to me to be a little tall for the existing scene just slightly and the OCD in me would have loved to have seen you finish off the reflections on her feet as that just jars a little for me when I look at the image. Really nice result though, well done.
