I must sincerely say that you are an indispensable resource for those who do not learn photoshop, no one can deny this, thank you on behalf of everyone..
This is a great tutorial not only for the glass effect but, with some tweaking of the bevel and shadow levels, creates a perfect look for large icicles. Everyone always shows how to do a full winter look with tiny icicle fringe on the edge of things but this is perfect for larger organic icicles. I've actually decided your technique would be so useful, I recorded them as an action starting with the fill reduction on the first layer. Will definitely be using this and recommending it to others. Great tutorial, as always.
@@Lizard171717 I mean you can visually see why he does certain things. But, I understand what you mean. If he says reasons as to why we do things it can lead to a better understanding.
Tnx for it bro your very honest with your audience u always deliver something special and helpful way.....keep going a good job...viewers let's grow together
Marty, what would cause my Photoshop 2021 to be missing Contour options in the Layer styles panel? In one of your other tutorials you used Gaussian - Inverted but my Ps only had Gaussian. Thanks.
@@BLTV_Photoshop Thank you!!!! I ad the same question. I have to say that clicking "Contours- Replace Contours with the Contours from Contours" made me burst out laughing. ;'D
Thank you so much! The only tough thing is I didn't have a lot of your same Countours. I'm not sure if they are download-able somewhere? It didn't come with mine, such as Valley Low, Peaks, etc. I didn't have any of them!
@@BLTV_Photoshop As example: for this project file: since layers can be re-used (smart objects) so we can use your already created psd file in our future projects (instead of following your tutorial and create the same psd). If you can gather all such files in a shared folder that would be great resource. Thanks again
1) Go to "Window" 2) "Patterns" 3) Click the icon at the upper, right of the Patterns panel to open the fly-out list 4) Click "Small List" 5) Open Back the fly-out list 6) Click "Legacy Patterns and More" 7) Scroll down the patterns list to see it 8) "Patterns" 9) "Clouds"
I Really Appreciate Your great Work in Teaching Us!!! Please Can You make Your Next Videos On How to Create Roy Lichtenstein POP ART and WPAP Art !!!! I will be Really Grateful to You !!! Thanks, Have A Great Day!
Thank you so much Marty for sharing your expertise to us. Have you ever tried the photoshop mobile/ipad if these effects can be done? I like working with light tools and a laptop or pc is not really ideal with my workflow. Please share us your thoughts. Thank you.
@@BLTV_Photoshop Thanks Marty, I already have the mobile version but I always ended up using the laptop as the app is very useless due to lack of features... have you tried creating your master piece via the app?
Double-click the thumbnail of any Smart Object in the Layers panel to open its source. Repeat it until you've opened the original b/w crown. Replace it with black text on a white background. Close all of the .psb tabs at the top. Voila.
In the Layer Styles window, click the gear icon next to Gloss Contour. CLick "Contours". Click OK in the next window when you see "Replace Current Contours...."
I don't have most of these contour options in my photoshop. Did you have to download them or are they supposed to be default options? Using photoshop 2019
Click the Adjustment layer icon and click "Hue Saturation". Clip it to the glass layer by Making it into a clipping mask. Check "Colorize". Drag the Hue and Saturations sliders.
@@BLTV_Photoshop you right! I should do it myself! :P I was hoping you could make it since I have no idea how to make actions XD I should at least try it. Thanks for the video. It's fantastic
