Almost got it. Had 2 glitches. Once when it told me I couldn't edit a layer, I didn't realize you highlighted the layer but was working on the new layer. And when you said the very last "hit color overlay" you didn't specify any settings, and mine came up with different settings than you had on your screen (the color wasn't automatically set to blue like it was on your screen and I didn't know what color you used) In the end, I just copied the overlay from the brick glow layer above it to the brick glow outer. It looks right, so I guess it worked.
Thanks for your comment. Adjustment layers don't becoming clipping masks automatically. One must manually clip it, therefore, it isn't necessary for me to inform people not to clip it. conversely, if an adjustment layer needs to be clipped, I'd mention it.
Do you have a tutorial on how to make the flashing of the neon sign effect like you did at the beginning and end of this tutorial? And what about the link to the sound effect of the neon flashing sound? It would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much for all your tutorials Marty!
The flashing neon lights were created by editing together just 2 frames: the face with lights and the face without lights. They were edited in my screen recording software, Camtasia.
@@BLTV_Photoshop thank you! I'm still new and learning and appreciate your videos! I had tried to do that but it would only save the white glow when i hid the background, saw the neon and then saved.
The intro & outro animations were done in my screen recording software, Camtasia. It's simply quick cuts between 2 frames - one with the neon light on and the other off.
Hi! I love your videos. I'd like to know if you can make a tutorial showing how to make the aliens (Being of light or energy) from the movie "Knowing". Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge.
Thank you for your suggestion. This is an illustration project. One can do it PS, however, it would require multiple hours to do it and and high level of illustrative skills. :-)
Yo this is driving me crazy,im doing a design with multiple faces im doing one with the color from the video then different colors for the rest....i just cant seem to get the same look with the other ones
I don't know why but I can't get the line to invert to white at 5:03 with Ctrl + Shift + I, then select + modify * contract. Once I get to the part about filling panel with white using Alt + Delete. It simply refuses to fill the lines.. Any suggestions because that seems to be the part that holding my project up..... Any options would be greatly appreciated.
The only reason one might type into the hexadecimal field is if you already know the code for a specific color. Just pick a different color in the color preview window.
Go to Image > Image Size. Increase its resolution. Keep in mind, it won't make your image sharper. Watch: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UqYHxrJ7NrA.html
Thanks. For the past few years, my tutorials have had translated subtitles (captioning). Click the "CC" icon at the bottom, right of the video and then click "Spanish (?)". The translations aren't perfect, but much of it is still understandable.
