Okay can you all stop with the “slow down”? This was made months earlier and you can clearly see in the comments pinned a full tutorial. This video wasn’t even a tutorial, just a showcase. It’s right there in the comments, people.
Mohit Parmar bruh the full tutorial is literally pinned on the comment section, I won’t teach because I can’t do it and I still enjoy this showcase. If you’re too lazy to look for it then that’s on you.

@@sadahash8180 i supose people got used to this format, there are a lot of "tutorials" in youtube that are just this kind of speed up thing. So a lot of people do not expect an actual tutorial in the coment section of the video. Not only that, but most people familiar with the program don't really need a tutorial and just want to follow the precise parts like when they are adjusting the curves. But i personally don't mind this type of videos

Wow that selection method left me, just, I have no words. That’s like how you made a selection in Photoshop 1.0. Don’t get me wrong the results look nice, but that selection could’ve been done in 30 seconds with “select subject” and “select and mask”.
There's literally a 'select subject' feature which gets the subject fairly well selected, then you take it into Select and Mask via properties, and you use 'redefine edge' tool to select hair... boom, done in a whole 2 minutes.
People saying there are easier ways to do this . Lol so what this guy killed it and obviously prefers this way as do I the way I was taught in college. Beautiful picture keep them coming 😍😍😍
Nathã Lucas good question. I wouldn’t recommend this way because it seems to take longer than necessary. I would recommend doing some sort of automatic “select subject”, quick select, or pen tool/lasso or something, then just “refine selection” then “mask.” ALTHOUGH, with Photoshop 2020 it has greatly increased “Select Subject” features as well as a brand new “Select Object” tool. The way presented here WORKS, however I personally would recommend putting a few extra minutes looking up these other options and doing it those ways instead.
@iTz eto He said use Subject Select as a starting point then refine the edges, it's not lazy it's efficient. Everyone has their preferred tools there's no right or wrong (unless you're working to a deadline of course).
What a beautiful creation! I hope to be able to edit like this one day...I always learn when I arrive at my apartment that I got on the bailti site. This deserves a big hug... Impressive!
Maybe because this way is non destructive, he can always make changes later...erasing and filling in the mask to get correct cut unlike quick selection or pen tool :)
@Chinmay Sahoo yes, agreed. I used to do in a lame way of selecting everything with pen tool and then layer via copy. I felt when writing that comment that with pen tool it's destructive. Problem is, when I seperate my selection to layer.
you did everything right except the way you just cropped your guy out.. so many ways of easily cropping perfect images with the hair strands included..
@@mariahvincent6813 if you use the tolerance of the brush while removing the background that's one basic way of keeping the detailing of the hair and more importantly the individual strands to make it look not cropped.
