Wow....Once I got it right it was EASY! OMG thank you!! I have been trying to make triangular marks for Tick Marks on a watch and wow...so frustrating. You make it look so easy!! And now...it is not so hard for me!!
how did the first 12 copy layer move to the 1 o'clock position when you only change the rotation to 30 degrees? for me that text layer just rotates, it does not move to the 1oclock position. Thanks!
Henry, I just checked this and it's working fine for me. I wonder if the problem you are having is actually locating the center point to drag it onto the center of the document? If this is the case, once you have selected the shape, copied it and brought up the Transform tools - I suggest you select the middle bottom of the box of 9 shapes - that moves the 'rotation point' to the bottom of the shape - at that position it is easier to locate. Make sure to zoom in as far as you can (and still see the bottom of the shape and the middle of the document) and then hover over the bottom of the shape and look for the change in shape of the mouse pointer. It is very different when held over the rotation icon. Once you find it, drag it to the middle of the document, set your angle of rotation and you're good to go. Let me know if you still have problems?
So, my version of photoshop (should be the newest) doesnt have the center point when i select anything. How do I turn that on? I know it use to cause I used it on previous versions, but I sure dont see it now.
