This tutorial is wonderful. There are so many Photoshop tools you could help us learn to use. Maybe a look at the Filter Gallery or the Blur methods other than Gaussian Blur. (Motion Blur or Surface Blur). Thanks Dave!

Thanks again for an informative and useful video. This looks like the Lightroom Content aware fill. I’ve spent hours with that tool trying to get a good replacement, even with the source area selection box and refresh. In your example with multiple selections the sharp edge in the bottom replacement looks particularly bad. I find the content ware fill with the ability to paint the source area almost always bales me out when the others don’t work.

Will you be adding this as an action to the TK8 My Actions panel? I've tried it and it doesn't work. I also can't find 'Delete and Fill' in the Edit Menu. I thought maybe that was why it wouldn't work as an action. The only way to action it is through the right mouse button.

Hi Dave, TK9 has D&F button just one click.

HI Dave, I am using PS 24.4.1 and noticed that delete and fill selection is not in the edit menu. It only shows up with right click > delete and fill selection as you show in the tutorial. Is this feature in your menu bar? Edit> and no delete and fill selection under fill. Weird, eh?

Thank you for showing but o will not be using it . That is because it omits the existing content aware fill functionality of being able to adjust the areas from which photoshop samples to fill .
