In today's episode of "Photosound," 🎙️ we dive into the sonic world of a single object: the rubber duck 🦆.
Using a Zoom H5 microphone 🎤, we captured various squeaks and splashes from this iconic bath-time toy 🛁. After meticulous audio editing 🎧, the samples were uploaded to the Digitakt via Elektron Transfer.
Each of the 8 pads on the Digitakt was programmed with different sounds from the rubber duck , which were then refined with filters, pitch adjustments, reverbs, and delays 🎛️ to create an enchanting musical piece 🎶.
Fun Fact: 🌟 Did you know that rubber ducks have been used in scientific research to study how ocean currents work ?
