I've never heard "crack on", unlike "what's the craic?", wich I hear very often.

'What's the craic?' is an Irish thing. 'Crack on' is pretty common all over the UK, Ireland, and the US, I believe 😁🌻

'Crack on!?!?😡 Stop nagging me, give me some slack or I'm going to crack up😭' Thanks Emma 💚🌻

😂 Nice! One small correction - I'd say 'cut me some slack' rather than 'give...' 🙌🌻

Nice! When 'crack on' is followed by a noun, we use the preposition 'with' - Let's crack on with the sports news 🙌🌻

Hi Emma! It`s interesting one! And I notice you are presenting this verb in its basic form. Perhaps it sounds weirdly being put into tenses, and I admit some of verbs preferably has to be applyed in their dictionary view!!! Whether wrong am I ?

Hey! This is verb that is generally used to speak about something in the moment. It's often used in the imperative. It's like saying 'Let's get started', so the examples all use that structure - Let's crack on... We need to crack on... The past tense would be 'cracked on', but it wouldn't be common to use it that way. 😊🌻

Come on, lads. We need to crack on with squaring the figures before the final presentation starts if we don't want to get the sack.

We should be really honest about¹ our failure to do more to stop global warming; we should crack on with implementing radical measures to achieve some progress in reversing that dangerous climate trend.☹️ Correction¹ - I put the preposition "about" where the incorrect preposition "with" was.
