I'm a physical movie collector, dvd, blurays, 4k, another advantage over streaming is dvds unlikely to be edited when they are on streaming, case in point Fawlty towers, Love thy neighbour, old shows like those will never be shown on streaming uncut

I’ve literally started doing this. Grabbing all my favourite films on 4k and any obscure tv shows on dvd. Definitely worth doing.

I've been building up a good collection of DVDs in recent years, yes, Blu Ray is better quality, but they lack any substantial extras, where DVDs can be packed with BTS docs and the likes. I can see DVD going the way of vinyl and coming back in popularity, get them whilst they're cheap.

First world problems: My TV is too big for DVD's. Earlier this year I slowly began curating a film collection focusing on my favourite films and trying to get steelbooks for them

Charity shops for dvds and blu rays. Can't go wrong. For the ones that don't show up in charity shops it's CEX.

I still love collecting DVDs and blurays because it’s getting annoying how expensive subscriptions are getting, plus like you say sometimes you can’t find content or it’s paywalled

I have a physical collection of dvd, blu ray and 4k because as like you say if internet went off then you still have things to watch. Also the fact that films appear and disappear regularly across the streaming services plus no one can really afford to subscribe to every service and it's also cheaper to have a collection, although it's a case of having room to store them.

I indeed have a physical collection. Mostly 4k and Blu-Ray but I do pick up DVDs from charity shops if I find a bargain, for example, I got the entire Fast Show collection set for £2.50 and all the Monty Phython movies for £2 just recently. Crazy bargains!

Physical media is key for movies, otherwise they could be “remastered” or censored in the future. Look at ET and Star Wars.

I've only recently started to buy dvds to make a somewhat collection. What ive been doing is buying sealed dvds and dvds for my collection from my local charity shop 10 for 1 pound I will then swap the new cases with the ones I have in my collection so it feels like a new dvd. Call me crazy but it's addictive 😂

Tvm goes to the car boot for dvds pays 10p each for them and takes them to cex for 10p voucher

ve been following your channel for a while now and I'm a bit confused about the direction of your content. Initially, it seemed like you were collecting games, but then you sold them off. After that, you started re-collecting games and then began posting news about games or CEX, and now it seems like you're focusing on DVD collecting.
