I locked mine 100% for 3 years mistakenly and it’s almost more than a year and I’ve not received the migrated balance. (The pi that I personally mined). In the app, it shows me the migratable balance but still says that I’m on cue for migration. Do I really have to wait for 3 years before it reflects in my wallet? Thanks 🙏
I downloaded pi network when the mining rate was 2 pi per hour and i never took it seriously and now I only have about 300 coins 🥺🥺 and 1 coin is selling at 0.5$ to 0.7$ man this is the hardest shit to take it's called karma 🥺🥺🥺💯
It's prohibited to sell/buy/exchange Pi for FIAT or other crypto during the enclosed mainnet. You can right now only use it in P2P transactions - see, for example, www.reddit.com/r/LocalPi/ - and then soon in the first dApps through the Pi Browser.
I don't want lock at 3 years. When I try to lower it to 25% for 2 weeks, there's no option to save at the bottom of the screen. I try to remove the check mark to not lockup any and theres no save button and if I exit and go back in it says I'm at 100% at 3 years. How do I remove lockout rate altogether?
Hey, my question is i have locked up my 100% for 3 years, now i want to change settings, so when will my first migration happen so that i will change settings?
Hello Chris, how long will it take for the my next migration? I adjusted my lockup configure rate to 2weeks, so when would it take effect so that some of my PI would be put in my wallet for use ?
I have started my migration process and was given a 14day window but I'm still yet to see my migrated coins in my wallet. Will my lockup commitment stop migration?
Just takes longer because there are more and more people in the migration queue, but as long as all steps in your migration checklist are done you coins will eventually show up in your wallet.
I didn't know what the Lockup settings was... So I increased the duration to 3 years and the amount to 100% before kyc. Now will I able to decrease it after kyc and migration and before 3 years?
AFAIK no. From what I recall you'll be able to configure a different lockup for future migrations but the first coins you get would now be locked up based on those settings. Best also ask at reddit.com/r/PiNetwork? just to be sure.
Not sure when the next migration happens, but yes, you definitely will get the coins you "mined" on your own (without referral earnings for now) migrated to your wallet.
Hi, please reply to my question i configured my 100% of coins till a year and now my first migration happened so now i can configure as many times as possible? And if i configure for 3years with 100% and when pi is abt to list then can i reduce the config to 2 weeks and withdraw the coins without any loss of config boost????
Once your lockup period is over you can click the "Move" button in the migration section of your wallet to get the coins transferred into your wallet. You can then also update your lockup settings to decide if, how much, and how long you want to lock up the next coins that get migrated to your wallet.
I locked 100 % of the balance for 3 years i tried to change it but it says you cannot change it until after the initial mainnet balance is pushed. What does this mean
Just check the migration checklist in the Pi app to set your lockup. And yes it can also be 0% if you want but locking up a portion would grant you a mining bonus.
Hello, sir, love you videos. I do have one question though, i locked up 100% for 3 years, when I'm migrated, does that mean I'll get nothing or it means I'll get the coins i mined on my own(without bonus or referrals)?
Hi, Currently I am having some verified balance, and a lot of unverified balance. While migrating will I lose the unverified balance?, If not ? Will they also migrated to mainnet and go through “LockUp” with verified one’s, OR the “Lockup” stops after the verified one’s goes, And the unverified stays until verified, Or once they get verified will they also joins “Lockup” as I 'committed', Even though after the first migration accomplishes?
Your "unverified balance" contains earnings from your referrals and security circle bonus. The part that comes from users that also pass KYC will turn into "verified" in the future. Everything that comes from users that don't pass KYC will stay unverified and disappear.
IF you saved that 100%/3-year lockup you can't change it anymore. You can only update it after you received the first migration to your mainnet wallet, and that change will only affect future migrations.
Hey Christian , btw great content I have a question about the profile section it says for me “Correct spelling is needed to claim Pi. You have 5 days and 23:12:01 to correct name” ? Is this involving KYC? what if I can’t get my KYC done in time ? Would I lose my Pi?
The countdown shows how long you are able to change your name in the app to make sure it matches your ID. KYC comes after that, and there is no time limit on it, you'll just someday will get a popup letting you know that there is now a slot available for your to complete KYC.
@@ChristianRauchenwald I deeply appreciate it thanks bro 👍🏼 keep up the great content. I’ve sub about a week ago! Greatest investment by far this month! Looking forward to future video of Pi and other crypto 😎 much love from California bro
I don't think you can change it at this time anymore. Look at the bright sight: if the project is a success, your coins should be worth more at the end of the lockup.
I changed my pi Wallet during when I was doing KYC verification and now I was migrated to mainnet but couldn't see my pi token on my new pi wallet Please what will I do about it
Check the wallet address that you entered in the migration checklist matches your new wallet address. If not, your coins likely got migrated to your old wallet address.
Hey Christian, I have set my lockup percentage and duration but it doesn't reflect in lockup rewards and shows "0.00" no matter how much I try. Can you help me with that?
Hi Christian My 1st migration has completed with 3 years and 100% lockup. Now i have reduced the duration to 2 weeks with 100% lockup for the 2nd Migration however the mining boost has not gone down accordingly. Just a bit worried as i do not want ALL my Pi to be accidentally locked up for 3 years as Open Mainnet is just a few months away. Thanks in advanced.
The mining boost is calculated as a combination of everything. As long as your 3-year lockup is active (coins are locked) you get the boost from that. Once the 2nd migration happens you get the boost from that combined with the boost from the 3-year if those coins still haven't unlocked. At least that's my understanding of the "Mining Mechanism" section at minepi.com/white-paper/#mainnet-chapters
@@ChristianRauchenwald phew, that really clears things up. Now i can rest easy. Thanks Christian, see you at the Finishing Line this coming December. Pi To Planet Pluto!
Changes you make only affect future migrations, ever migration that's already in progress or that you already received in your wallet can't be changed.
Every user has 14 days after signing to make sure their name is correct. After that I'm not sure if there is a way to still change the name. While this might be annoying it's a necessary restrictions to prevents people from creating a bunch of unverified accounts to then sell to others. However, as said, I am not 100% sure if there isn't still a way, so best ask at reddit.com/r/PiNetwork? ... maybe someone there knows a way.
I made a wallet a while ago but now it says wallet already claimed by another pioneer....Create a new wallet and lose everything migrated to my wallet? it's been a month and still not available. I'm concerned.
I mistakenly locked up my pi for three years. How can I disable it? Because now my pi has been migrated to mi mainnet wallet, but I cannot migrate it to my available balance because it’s locked for three years. How can I stop the lockup?
Try using your mobile connection instead of WiFi or vice versa. If that doesn't work, install the Pi Node app on a windows computer and try changing the settings there.
They say it's "periodically", the first migration was on july-ish and i only lock up my pi for only 2weeks and i already moved it to my available balance.
You can only change your lockup for future migrations once you received the first migration. You can NOT lower the lockup settings for your first migration once you locked them in.
My first lockup rate was 💯 for 3years.now I have changed it to 50% for one year.please will this new lockup rate apply to my my pi coins that have been migrated? Or it will only apply to the new mined coins that will be migrated to my pi wallet.will the first coins still remain lockup up for 3years?
I locked up 90% for 3 years. Would have gone with 100% but needed some flexible Pi to make videos like ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iUbqXhDN-cc.html&
Please sir,my pi was locked till 2026,i have done some adjustment back to two weeks ,but the pi network did not unlock after 14days,so what am i going to do sir
Unfortunately, I don't know of any way to change your number. If you have a new number, link your Facebook account instead (if you haven't already) so you have at least one way to restore access to your account if needed until the day the team adds an option to update your number.
Hello, how can we check the amount of locked pi as My mainnet balance is showing 0 pi after the migration of pi is it because I locked up 100% of pi for 1 year??
I have lockedup my pi 100 percentage for 3 years.. will be able to unlock the pi oru change the lockup to 2 weeks and after that will it be available on my mainnet
Changing the lockup setting only affects future migrations. Everything that's already in the migration queue or in your wallet can't be changed anymore.
Hey i locked up the %50 of my pi but now i want to lock up %90 of pi in my wallet. I made those unlocked pi availabe balance in my wallet and changed the lock up settings but nothing happend unlocked available pi is still unlocked. How can i change this? If i wait until next migration will they locked up with newly migrated pi?
@@ChristianRauchenwald actually i have been trying bur they said i can only do that when the initial balance is pushed 😣 bir I don’t know if the settings will take effect from the coin I already mine
I have been locked for 3 years by mistake, how can I release the coins again before I transfer the coins to everyone on the open network, given that my coins are frozen and did not transfer to my wallet ,Thx❤ broo
Balances on Mainnet and Testnet are independent of each other. You can switch between Test- and Mainnet at the top of the page in the Wallet app within the Pi Browser.
Yes, on my end everything is working fine. Best ask for help at reddit.com/r/PiNetwork? and include some details (screenshots, which phone you are using,...).
I lockup my pi for 3 years with 100% now I set it to 50% but the mine pi has not been move to my available balance, what can I do for the 50% mine pi to move to my available balance
Hey Chris I accidentally locked up my pi for 3yrs 100% but I haven't done my kyc and also haven't migrated, so will I be able to reduce it after my kyc before I migrate as well. Hope for your response 🙏
Just check in the lockup section if you still can change it. AFAIK once you locked it in there you can only change it after the first migration, but if you are lucky you didn't confirm those settings yet and can still change them.
@@ChristianRauchenwald meaning,, the first lock up will not be officiall,, ?when the first migration done? I Also accidentally lock for 100% for 3 years, My kyc is done,, but system said waiting for 14 days? To migrate?
Hi Christian. What will happen if I didn't complete my KYC after enclosed mainnet because there is no invitation yet? Thank you in advance for answering. More power. God bless.
Before the migration you can pick your lockup setting and also select 0 if you want. However, once coins are locked up there is no way to unlock them early.
My mistake. Just checked again, the shorted lockup would be 25% for 2 weeks. You can update that setting in the mainnet section of the Pi Network app and it will be applied to all future migrations.
I have signed the "Acknowledgment to Recieve tokens" on 2023-02-10, and still did not recieved any of the Pi amount to my wallet. That was three months ago. When can I expect to recieve some tokens? Thanks in advance!
I accidentally locked up for 3 years… But accepted my mistake because of the nice high mining rate increase, So if I adjust lockup duration after this I will completely loose my mining bonus ? Or it will just be adjusted ?
You can try to change it if it's not locked in yet, and in that case, it will just change - including the mining rate bonus - to whatever your new setting is. If you already locked up the 3-year setting that you can't change it anymore and your Pi during the first migration will get locked up for 3 years.
@@ChristianRauchenwald so once first migration happens, how long do I have to adjust settings how do I know I’ll get there in time and the lock up rate won’t get stuck on 3 yrs for the pi I still have available
@@ChristianRauchenwald I already accidentally saved settings for 3 years lock up that’s why was wondering what the process is to ensure my remaining Pi isn’t locked up next migration
