Thanks for this. Always thought it's a good learning exercise to figure out how to engineer around the limitations of a slightly unconventional, imperfect solution.

Thanks, that's a great point, very much in the spirit of the project! I have certainly learned a lot exploring the limits of this approach.

Thanks for all your work thus far and in the future. I have a Pico reserved for building a transmitter.

Great presentation. Great ideas. Can you extend the series with some filters ? Especially filters using op-amps ?

This is amazing! Please do more of this! I can't get enough class e / polar modulation content! :) Do you mind sharing the core types you used? And why you chose the transistors you chose? I look forward to seeing more of your experiments!

Thanks very much for your comment, glad you are enjoying it. I have added some more details about the transistor selection and the core types on the documentation page 101-things.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ham_transmitter.html#amplifier-experiments

This is fantastic. I love seeing someone build a transmitter. Do you have a GitHub? I'd love to run these experiments along side you. I even think something like this could be used to invigorate a younger Ham Radio audience. I also like the idea of pairing this with an SDR. You could have a radio for pretty cheap, and this satisfies all the people out there that say people are just "Appliance Operators." I would like even like to see this as a Bring Your Own Pi Pico kit.

Very informative video; thank you! There's a lotta RC going on, there. One minor request; the audio is… a touch painful to listen to. There's some high-frequency noise and static centre-right, and I'm sensitive to those high frequencies. My kingdom for a bandpass filter! 😀 -3.5dB @ 4K, -6dB @ 8K, -12dB @ 16K only *mostly* resolved it for me using a local graphic EQ. Thanks!

Thanks very much for your comment. Glad you liked the video. Thanks for the tip about the audio, I'm still getting the hang of things :-)

Great, thanks for the feedback! I'm quite new to this, but will try to improve this in future videos. I subscribed to your channel, it looks pretty neat!

The last link "Class-E amplifier design spreadsheet" is broken. Please update it.

Regarding your PICO RX, It would help it you labeled the orientation of the chips on the pcb. I'm building up this cute receiver...

Cool, best of luck! With regard to the chip orientation I used the standard kicad symbols, the pin 1 end is marked with a slightly longer line on the silkscreen, but I agree it could be clearer. If you have any problems, raise an issue on the gitHub page and I will do my best to help :-)
