Daily near-miss accidents, including TCAS warnings and flight emergency landings, such as the recent one in Muscat when a Boeing Triple Seven engine failed. So what CAA as the regulatory authority doing? Are their only interest in canteen contracts and bribery from airlines staff/pilots ? With all the accidents or near-miss accidents or emergency landing of the plane, is the data not compiled? And corrective action is not taken according to this data? Even the crash of PIA flight PK 308 did not change the institution. Will CAA continue to play with people's lives?

When PIA pilot chose not to reply, it is clear that it was an admission of his critical failure to follow ATC guidelines. He should have been given a number to call to have some debriefing after landing, with Chief pilot. Should also go onto his personal file, so he can have some more simulator training. In other countries the ATC issues a number to call if it spots such breaches.
Amazing narration. Im surprised to hear PIA operated the B777 to OMDB. Usually they operate those towards Saudi while use the A320 towards UAE. Thanks to TCAS Resolution Advisories .... Computers saved the day again.
