Thanks for this one! I have a new Vespa Primavera 150 and I wanted to take off as much "unecessary" stuff. I disconnected all the hoses and plugged the port on the fuel injection but left all hoses and the can in there in case of warranty issues and the dealer's gotta go in there.

Hi Mitch, I just have a fly 125 2009, till the engine is cold it''s just want to stall every time when I stop and it is struggling to go again, also I find oil or petrol in the air filter, any ideas??? Also I want to say a massive thank you for helping me know my scooter better and repairing myself saving a load of money. You are the best Buddy!!!

I'm helping a buddy out with his 08 sky 150 that won't start and has a host of other problems. Since I had to get into most of the places doing the evaporation deal, I thought I'd do it anyway. What's the point of the removal anyways? Also do you have carburetor tutorials on your channel? Thanks a bunch! Your awesome!!!

Hi Mitch . My son has a 2010 Piaggio fly 100 which is currently having exactly the same starting problems as shown in the video. - I have a question about the full removal of the evap unit . I've watched this video several times now and I am wondering if it Is absolutely necessary to totally remove the whole of the evap assembly or can the rubber pipes simply be cut and capped off and a longer bit of tube added for the overflow which goes underneath the engine. Apologies if this is a really stupid question . Many thanks in advance

I have evap hoses running under the floor boards up to the front of the Piaggio Typhoon Scooter. Why are these running up front towards the leg shield area, and what do they connect to up there at the front of the bike?

Instead of removing all the hoses, valve and canister from the scooter, can't you just disconnect the two hoses going to the intake and carburetor, then attach the plug and filtered hose to the intake and carb? That way its much easier to put back together in the future in case you have to. I can just imagine state government's start requiring motorcycles and scooters get smog inspections.

Can you just remove the two lines as you indicated under the seat to see if that's the problem? If it is, then I would do the entire Evap-ectomy.

Mitch I did this and now it runs terrible. It will idle but won’t work when I throttle it up it just shuts down. With the one bigger opening on the car I have capped off, but when I blow into the other one on the left side of the carb it speeds right up. What am I missing here? So just to refresh, I took everything off as you did, I capped off the right side of the carb, and it Doesn’t run when I throttle up. It will work only if I blow a slight amount of air into the one on the left side that you put on the filter

What year is it? Is it fuel injection? Mine is 2010, I dont know if mine is carburetor or fuel injection

Starter is a big round thing usually with a thick cable going to it and one end usually pointing towards the transmission side.

i need help ASAP with my Piaggio FLY 150, It just wont start...Ripped this down to access the carb and all of the lines etc, and I just dont get it, I tested staark against the frame im getting purple , slight blue spark, fuel seems to be the issue, on the right rear side of the tank, where the purge valve seems to be, if I disconnect the fuel hose from the left side of the carb-point down, and crank engine, it pours out, when i reconnect the fuel line back to the carb, crank the engine, it doesnt seem to come out as ill slip the hose back off and its as if nothing was coming from the fuel line..It just cranks and cranks, I put 93 octane in.... Stuck please help!!

I got the same problem on my Gilera Runner VX 125 4T 2004 whitout this sistem. How can i solve it? Start verry difficult and if its started it doesnt take gas.
