This needs a pro shot showing in theaters or on Netflix. It's a shame the low views of such talent. He's lost at least a generation due to his music not being widely streamed while he was alive. I understand his reasoning but it put a huge dent in his legacy unfortunately. I hope he is not forgotten. I feel he is singularly a once in forever talent. So thankful to have been born at the right time while he was here. Regret not seeing him live but growing up with his music in my life was good enough. My heart still pains me over the loss. He is such an inspiration to me still. Rest in power Prince. You "Gave Your Angels".
I often wonder about this. Even as a child of the 90's, I only got into Prince years later after "Lady Cab Driver" randomly popped onto my Pandora station... during a brief period before Prince cracked down and got it removed! I bought a lot of his albums having zero idea what they'd sound like. Before that, my main associations with Prince were the Batman movie and that whole "artist formerly known as" debacle.
I still grieve this man’s death. A true genius like none other I’ve seen. An artist who could rock the world on the drums, piano, vocals, dance, and wowed the world on that guitar!! His dad drove him hard and we reaped the benefits. I also lost a child...there’s nothing you can say to explain the pain. I understand sweet man. I hope to see you again, but not yet...not yet. Thank you to those who shared this with us. Thank you my dear Prince. Love u forever. ❤️
Who is the one person that gave this a thumbs down? This displays how strong his vocals were, a fantastic show without all the frills and he still was able to captivate the crowd. A superb genius that is so very much truly missed. I miss this man so much.
I remember getting mad at my wife for pulling out her phone and recording 20 seconds of the performance. He died shortly after and I’m forever grateful to her for that footage that we will now have forever. RIP Prince
WOW just WOW! His skill level at being just a musician can't be touched by any one in 2020. His talent is n was something so special.Piano, Guitar etc.. He is One in a million. He was taken too soon, He is missed.❤️
I was there and what an experience it was. My dear friend got tickets at the last minute and just…wow! He was extraordinarily brilliant… and then he was gone. I feel fortunate to have shared the time here on earth at the same time he did. He was a gift.
My heart still grieves . This incredible being has captivated everyone. It has taken me 4 years to listen and watch him perform. This has me think of the photo of him sitting at the piano at Owen’s house. You are forever in my thoughts and 💜
Even illness didn’t diminish his gifts. On borrowed time here, and he looked it but oh how much fun it must have been to be in his presence this night.

The people who were at this concert must’ve felt so surreal when he passed. Like wow, I just saw him! Then again, it’s a blessing. Imagine being able to say you were at one of his legendary last performances!
@@queenkaili3243 He looked like he was aging. I noticed a little patch of a bald spot on the top of his head . But his voice sounded the same, super clear and strong.
@@micheleanderson2710 you mean his supervoice. Even that was unbelievable, almost not natural, no longer normal, that his voice was since so long time still so strong, sonorous, yes - high classy 👌💜💔💜
I was there too…and I didn’t think he looked frail at all. He was on fire, magic…making all of us fall in love with him over and over. I still can’t believe he is gone and return to watch this concert often. What a gift it was to have him share himself with us so intimately that night. I’ll never forget it. Miss you sweet Prince💜
None of us can know when God is going to call us home. I do know that Prince was a very spiritual man. That spirit is so evident and prevalent in this performance. We all know that Princce's talent was a present to us from God. It was also a gift meant to inspire us all to have love 4 one another. He was truly a remarkable human being. Love is touching souls, certainly he touched mine and many others.
All I can say is I'm BLOWN AWAY!!🎉 THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS IM SO GREATFUL IMGOT TO SEE / HEAR A MASTER AT HIS CRAFT💜💜💜 R.I.P Prince thank you for the gift of beautiful, inspiring, truthful music 🎶 🎵
wow so much joy and pain when i hear this i love this every time i watch this is why he is un match and stand alone the whole place sang and made him feel better and he pass it back to the crowd i go thru it when i hear this so much joy he given use and still does he was music pure music it was his time and he gave use this great show one last time no one can do what he just did just a piano and he put on a show love you always and thank you Prince RIP MY BROTHER
Weird irony his energy level was superb. Yet if you look you can see his frail frame. He was withering away and wasn't even fully aware of his demise. Addiction is so cruel i wish he could've been reached sooner. Rest Well Dear Prince.
Since I haven't watched a Prince concert in what feels like forever, I picked this one. EDIT- 11:20 A.M.: *finishes concert 2 hours and 3 minutes later* I'm amazed that there was actually footage from this concert. Prince didn't allow cell phones to be used during his concerts!
Thanks 2 The Most High for giving PRN all the tools of greatness, including brilliant illusion/double meaning, and for giving some of us the sight to see between the lines ("livin off the grid"-I heard ya PRN). Riding off ona bike (despite supposed chronic hip pain at this time...lol). Seems 2 B walkin jus fine 2 me, but God Bless. It's always what they can prove aint it? "maybe you'll come see me" (at PP). How did he ever know? #MayULive2SeeTheDawn."The preservation of self/how did we get here?"
So blessed to have seen this genius perform 15 times in life... The last performance I saw was in Lexington, Kentucky... a little under a year before he passed! Nothing will ever give me that feeling in life again! Forever missed and 4ever in my life! 💜💜💜
2:21 "Somewhere Over The Rainbow 🌈" I'll never forget the footage showing a rainbow in the sky above Prince's house after his death. What a beautiful and awesome coincidence. When the fans outside Paisley Park saw the rainbow they screamed Prince!!!! 💜🌈💜
It gets weirder... I watched that rainbow reach across Chanhassen on that awful day, imagine my surprise when visiting Paisley Park for the first time soon after and seeing the old rainbow painting on the wall near the front door. Then seeing the rainbow appear (out of nowhere) on the last day of Celebration.
Wait a minute.. PRINCE said he need land and his music He also is awakening your spirit… Distractions ..eliminated Piano &PRINCE &Microphone Omg… PRINCE you are amazing…. ⚜️💜💜💜💎👑
I wish I had gone... one close to me.. I didn't hear about till after and once I saw the footage on YT.. I cried. It was incredible. Coachella... what I wouldn't give to have been able to go to that performance. I'm glad to see the footage but still tugs at my heart to watch it.
The visual effects - like a beautiful kaleidoscope, based on visions after consumption of psilocybin or better mescalin. He liked it obviously He - the SUPER GENIUS 💜💔💜
All the things Prince was dealing with internally at this particular time...the passing of Denise Mathews jus a few days before in a small town jus outside Oakland, struggling with pain pills and I'm sure things we will never know about....He pushed forward to show up and show out ....I was blessed to have caught him a week prior to this show at Oracle arena, jus a few miles from there at the Paramount theater a much smaller venue and much more intimate....I cancelled my floor seats and went with my best friend ended up in row z....very last row ...God knew what he was doing for me....I jus have a bad feeling in my heart about his visit to Oakland/ N Cali....ALOT of people where dying of fentanyl poisoning if you go back and read headlines late 2015 and early 2016 California was hit, ALOT of his inner circle and ties to people that would do anything and hold secrets are in this region.... It jus sucks! It's jus a theory but my gut tells me different! Thanks n Much 💜... RIP PRN!
Agree.... P was devastated over Denise, the concert he dedicated in Melbourne to her was ethereal and the owner won't allow it anymore but I was able to watch it before being pulled.... you could hear the pain him crying out.... the house was just full of tears and love
Yes. Some asshole gave him pressed Fentanyl instead of real Percocets (Oxycodone) that he needed for his hip pain. He took the pills without first checking that they are 100% original.. So damn sad..but unnecessary and unfortunately stupid. 😥💜
@@miro115 it's a 50/50 thing ...Mr Nelson chose to get his meds outside of a Dr's... supervision. No one purposely or knowingly poisoned him...one of his associates got the pills from the street. Prince probably assuming it was from their Dr. Or he took the risk knowing it was off the streets. Horrible situation either way. But someone still living has a story to tell.. A very CLOSE FRIEND! I'm almost sure it came from the streets of Oakland..his tour opened their in early 2016... and in late 2015 to early 2016 fentanyl was causing deaths in Northern California..Jus sayn these people know who they are that supplied Prince with these pills!
@@icu1905 he took the secret to his grave. We will never know the whole truth, but he also exaggerated/ overdid it himself, he was already experienced with opioids. But his heart just couldn't take the amount of strong opioids anymore. Jus sucks! RIP you SUPERGENIUS 💜
Omg..this is so amazing..😍 you in audience should be grateful to hear and listen a Prince performance on piano .. RIP beautiful soul & voice..💜❤💜 thanks for posting. 😊
