I don't know what the hell you did throughout the first part of the chorus but my fuck. It was just about the most beautiful thing that I've ever heard. Keep this up my friend. You can change the world with music.
Can you do a tutorial of it...? My father is a big fan of Dire Straits and my sister and I would like to play it for his birthday, next year... (Maybe there are some mistakes, I'm French.).
This helps me to understand more about Mr. Knopfler's singing style. A lot of his verse is sung much like a chant, using the same note(s) over several counts. It is effective to hear the purity of the melodic line.
I don't know what to say... I'm french and a big Dire Straits fan, and this is just awesome ! Woah you're so good ! Great ;D I hope someday I could buy a piano and learn.
Thanks very much for this - and all the over - videos you've made. You are a true inspiration. The last time I played for real was when the DX-7 was the hottest thing around. That'd be the late-80s I guess. But with your fantastic covers, I'm tempted to take up that hobby again. Not that I'll be competing with you any time soon - but your covers are just that fantastic. Thanks very much! I'm looking forward to more fantastic music from you :) /Klaus
Really good to hear this song on a piano. It makes me realise even more what a genius Mark Knopfler is, as it sounds even better in this simplified format, than it does being played by a band.
Hi Jackson, Your arrangement is fabulous, like the original song. Did you write a sheet music on it ? I can pay for it if requested. Thanks for your response.
this one is so old, I don't know if you are going to see my recent comment, buddy, but for some reason it popped up when I went on RU-vid this evening, and I really enjoyed it, one of my favorite songs....I always enjoy your interpretations!! I usually do this as part of a medley of songs in the key of F......
A lovestruck Romeo sang the streets of serenade Laying everybody low with a love song that he made Finds a streetlight, steps out of the shade Says something like, "You and me, babe, how about it?" Juliet says, "Hey, it's Romeo, you nearly gave me a heart attack" He's underneath the window, she's singing, "Hey, la, my boyfriend's back You shouldn't come around here singing up at people like that Anyway, what you gonna do about it?" "Juliet, the dice was loaded from the start And I bet, and you exploded into my heart And I forget, I forget the movie song When you gonna realize it was just that the time was wrong, Juliet?" Come up on different streets, they both were streets of shame Both dirty, both mean, yes, and the dream was just the same And I dreamed your dream for you and now your dream is real How can you look at me as if I was just another one of your deals? When you can fall for chains of silver you can fall for chains of gold You can fall for pretty strangers and the promises they hold You promised me everything, you promised me thick and thin, yeah Now you just say "oh, Romeo, yeah, you know I used to have a scene with him" "Juliet, when we made love, you used to cry You said 'I love you like the stars above, I'll love you till I die' There's a place for us, you know the movie song When you gonna realize it was just that the time was wrong, Juliet?" I can't do the talk like they talk on the TV And I can't do a love song like the way it's meant to be I can't do everything but I'd do anything for you I can't do anything except be in love with you And all I do is miss you and the way we used to be All I do is keep the beat and bad company All I do is kiss you through the bars of Orion Julie, I'd do the stars with you any time "Juliet, when we made love you used to cry You said 'I love you like the stars above, I'll love you till I die' There's a place for us you know the movie song When you gonna realize it was just that the time was wrong, Juliet?" And a lovestruck Romeo, he sang the streets of serenade Laying everybody low with a love song that he made Finds a convenient streetlight, steps out of the shade He says something like, "You and me, babe, how about it? You and me, babe, how about it?"
Thanks for everyone. Also you did a great job with that wonderful final solo. A sheet music recording can be made from that video. What if you did a cover for Walking in the wild west end?
I don't have a tutorial sorry, maybe in the future, as its very time consuming and previous feedback from tutorials simple show that i'm not good at it. (more hate than love sadly).
@@yew2533 How about recording the song with a MIDI program whilst playing it? This would create a transcription of the song. Perhaps you are familiar with this kind of software. Perhaps you could then even make a small charge for the file, or put it up on a donations basis.
one word... beautiful i wanna use this arrangement to one poem video, this arrangment is your and my question is "Can I use buddy? *pls say yes bro* :'3
